I'm gonna check it out.I don't have to work Thursday or Friday. I hope it's not as boring as redlinerobert says it is.

I witness that a few times growing up. The outside world was my entertainment.Always broke out laughing.

Matter of opinions...they both good baits.

Nothing coming to mind as trying new. I just wanna catch more fish this year. I'm sure a few new baits might make it on the water.For the most part I'm sticking with trick sticks,tubes,grubs and jig/craw. If the conditions recall for spinnerbaits then that's what I'll be casting.I do want to greatly improve my top water technique. I'm just concentrating on fishing the pattern.Hoping I can put together a better game plan.

My doctor scarred me for life. I lost my hearing entirely. You are complaining about something over $30.... You don't want to hear me rant about Doctors....I'll go on for months and months...I hate em'.....with a passion.Yeah I'm a little bitter about it...I feel i got the right to be though.

Nothing..... ;D It's usually just about the kids and the family.Actually we really don't have any spending money for each other at that point. In seriousness though.....We don't do our Christmas thing till after tax time. Planning on going to a big mall and buying each other something there.It's been kinda a tradition for us the past 5 years now. I have no problem going to these Victoria Secret and getting her Body lotion.It ain't cheap and some nice stuff in there.Trying to think of something different this year though.I got a few ideas. On top of that we each split up $400 for each other to spend on ourselves. The Mall we plan on going to has a BPS. I may not spend anything there on myself and just wait till i get home and blow it on TW....haven't decided yet. ;D I'm also taking her to Rain forest Cafe inside the mall. Kinda like a little special dinner for us.We both enjoy that.

I do...it helps. I just spray it on the spool before spooling up on my reel. I don't use it on braid....Never saw a reason why i needed too.Doesn't make any sense why i need to put it on braid. I don't find braid to be too stiff.Braid breaks in by itself. You'd just be wasting it IMO.

Anybody making/selling that design is getting sued over right now.Reaction Innovations owns the rights to that bait. Which is why you are seeing a lot of sellers dropping that bait from their line up. I'm gonna bet that might be a good reason why their site is not around right now.Trying to avoid lawsuits.

Wally World pobably didn't have any guides this year because the DNR didn't print any of them out! In their quest to save money, the 2009 and 2010 seasons were supposed to run under the 2009 guide. A client of mine who owns a bait shop was showing me the State's letter to license agents back when it first came about. If I remember correctly it talked about how dealers could "purchase" additional guides, and how they were supposed to encourage people to visit the DNR website to print off a copy of the rules. Kind of expensive if all you have is an inkjet printer, and those darn colored trout maps are terrible. LOL this made me laugh and feel disgusted at the same time. It's one of those moments... Makes sense though why i didn't get one....

I'm sorry, but unless you had AADD, you would have no idea.... I do that to my own threads just as often. And BTW, I believe it was a mod who first mentioned trucks. Jfrancho, stock or not, that is one sweet Z71..... And now tell me your not showing it off. Heck, I would be Anyway, "value" or "worth" is such a subjective thing. Would a Bugatti Veyron be worth $1.5 million to you ? Not me. But if I were a bazillionaire and loved cars, sure ! Why not Like I told Steezy in a PM, I'd be afraid to even try one of those $500 reels, for fear I might like it too much ! On the other hand, I still believe I will catch as many, and as big of fish with my cheaper reels. So, their you are. Is "any" response from me, still considered a catch ? : Peace, Fish I understand where Chris is coming from. I cannot afford $500 reels,nor do i have the desire to fish one because of it. I limit myself to $150 sub par reels and even try to find deals on $200 that'll fit my budget even if it is last year's models. I believe the steez is probably worth it....After all i do love the daiwa reels i do have. This thread turned out pretty decent and funny after all..

I try to... I go to a great lakes website to also check up on them. Walmart is horrible about carrying or giving out the handbooks. I didn't get one last year and the lady behind the counter couldn't find em'. I also visit the DNR website right before fishing season starts to read up and fresh up a little. I don't always remember everything and things change almost every year.
