Antique lure...Moonlight #1900
Those lures are usually worth some money. Honestly I'd check up on the Vintage lure catalog and see what it might be worth. If anything That would be up in my fishing room on a shelf. I wouldn't get rid of it if I were you. Even if it ain't worth anything it's still a jump back in time kinda lure. IMO

Strange .....
This year's Black Friday is not appealing anything for me as deal busters.Least not anything i want or need. I couldn't pass up the Revo STX 09' last year for $100....I wish i found those deals again.

Speed trap on I-20 in Georgia. What a hoot.
Happens regularly here too....Cops love construction sites! I think the police department has a contract with the construction company on taking their sweet time fixing and building roads....There was a road by my house in construction for over a year and I've never in my life seen so many sheriff cars for that entire year they had people pulled over everyday. I've had 3 of them follow me to work trying to catch me on anything . I think they got sick of me waving at them after awhile...I'm an extremely caution driver here.

Ugh, so full right now
Cold deep fry turkey tastes awful. My wife had to work today so we made it to the dinner a little late.Everything was pretty much gone and cold. >

Did you ever buy a lure/lures that just didn't catch anything???
Same here.... I don't want to get rid of mine in case i actually figure it out and start actually catching fish on em' when i couldn't before. Hollow belly frogs, jitterbug, any topwater propeller type baits and a whole lot of swimbaits i have fit that category.

who's still flying?
I've been watching some of the You Tube stories....From some girl had her Nipple ring cut right off to some poor guy had his catheter busted open after he told them what it was and they squeezed it too hard. I'm second guessing myself rather i ever want to fly again now. My opinion they are already adding salt to the wound of even more people won't want to fly now. I wonder how many airports are going to be able to stay open after losing even more money.

Favorite Dish

who's still flying?
I don't think anyone cares about the metal detectors. We're talking about the new stuff. The new body scanners (take everything out of your pockets, face the side, hold your arms above your head type of scanners) and NEW pat down procedures (these changed on 11/1/10 to include shall we say "sensitive" areas). Metal detectors are fine and are not invasive. THIS is invasive. The TSA said it shouldn't have happened, but it did. Is the line of prudence really outside of the underwear vs inside it? All quotes taken from this article http://abcnews.go.com/Travel/tsa-responds-passenger-outrages-underwear-search-happen/story?id=12208932 There are many more instances of this happening. Point taken.....I was way off on my discussion...I don't mind the new X-ray screen stuff matter of fact I'll do that rather than being fondled...touching me...is a big,big NO-NO.

who's still flying?
I went through metal detectors all the way through High school....I'm kinda used to it,so it doesn't really bother me. However i do question how well they work, many kids still got guns and knives through regardless of them.No matter what there is always security risk anywhere you go.I just live my life...but a little extra security helps keep a peace of mind...for many people. It's still a big question mark how much is too much..it's a fine line for everybody.

xmas exchange? >>>>>>>> DATE REVISED <<<<<<<<<
It's a Christmas gift exchange. You sign up and get paired with someone to exchange a "New" gift that has a value not exceeding the limit set. Then purchase and mail the gift out in time for them to get it by Christmas. We've been doing this for a few years now and it's been great. And a great way to get or discover some new lures and baits for your collection. I have gotten 4-6 lures so far that are now my favorite baits to use fishing in these Christmas exchange. It's really cool to see what kind of baits other people have success with and will share with you.

Lets see what's in your fridge.
No, those are his oysters. Keri took them from him when they got married and put them in there for safe keeping and to remind him who's boss. Glenn, Since there will be an opening for a new Global Moderator, I'd like to send in my resume. ;D That's funny right there....

Christmas is coming...
I love my 6'8" M/XF Powell Max rod. I got it paired with a Daiwa Fuego 2000 spinning reel and 6 pound P-line fluorocarbon line. By far my favorite set up!.

The future in Minnesota..
100% agree.....I was a big,big fan of his till he turned into this middle age crisis wussy. He's ruining the respect he had in football. On the bright side Green Bay is doing just fine without him.I'm glad they got rid of him to be honest when they did.

Disappointed with my fishing season
Broken wrist side lined any time i could have had this summer on the water. Plus i was working 60+ hours a week during the spring.I completely missed the spring runs. Early fall was the only time i actually caught fish....Then it just completely died down. I'm already done for the season. I have one spinning rod ready to go just in case i can get out there one more time before sub freezing temps.

braid for small reels
I thought you didn't care for that Daiwa reel? Must be a pretty decent reel if you haven't had a wind knot with it for 4 months so far.

BASSclary's P-Line CXX Review.
12# test coils like a slinky? Try 17# test some day...LOL I have 17# test on my heavy jig rod for around heavy weeds and timber. If there was a plug for the lake I bet I could sang that plug and drain the entire lake out. P.S. you got to keep that line tight,You were letting the line wrap back up too loosely.Only reason why I'm saying this is because i notice on the end you started having problems with it.If you stretch out the line it a little bit it'll also help on the slinky problem you were having. I also use 6# test on my spinning rig..it has performed flawlessly for me. I will definitely be using it again next year.

CMA Awards!
You guys are gonna hate me...I really dig the pop-country songs by a lot of the newer artists. Country has gotten better in my eyes. The old country to me sounded like it was about singing about how his cow just caught Mad cow disease or something. Sounded way too depressed. However i can understand how you older country folks are...I feel the same way about the "new" rappers out there....I love the Old school rap from the 80's and 90's.

Your Favorite Braking System?
Centrifugal brakes are easier to use for me.I backlash much, much less with that kind of braking system. It really don't matter because I'm really liking my Daiwa Fuego and Revo STX 09' as well.
