I don't think they truly knew they were going to run into danger. I bet a lot of anglers here fish Falcon and they go into Mexico's side without much worry. I agree they need to broadcast this more in America,might warn people who really don't know exactly how bad it is down there.

Same here.3 rods is pushing it for me,I usually have just 1 maybe two most of the time. I do however keep an extra backpack in the car with some extra plastic baits in there.

In the summer when those dog days start ticking me off I just grab my light spinning rig and go after bluegills.Grab yourself some live crawlers or wax worms and tie one on under a bobber and enjoy the scenery. Fishing should never be about catching,it should always be about enjoying yourself outside and getting some fresh air for a chance.Fishing is my stress reliever....It's a hobby i truly grew up and enjoyed my entire life. There was a T-shirt I once had "A Bad day fishing beats a good day at work". I still find that true.

I fish something very similar here,2 major lakes and right smack in the middle is a little river system between the two. They are always loaded with bass going back and forth to those lakes. Right now is the time to hit it,once it gets too cold those bass are gone.They end up heading to the main lakes.

Yup,friend of mine fished it and said there's Smallmouth and pikes in there. Wouldn't be surprise if there's walleye in there too.

Heavy influenced in Dallas,TX my home town. I can tell you stories on top of stories about MS-13. I was very careful not to cross them. Nothing good about them. Most of them were Illegals.

I experience the same thing....No logical reason other than they just weren't biting today.Those shut downs can drive you crazy,I know that much.

I use the palomar on fluorocarbon and haven't experience any breaks. :-/

Daiwa's air bail takes away a lot of that nasty twist cause by spinning reels. I have 6# test P-line on my Daiwa fuego 2000 and i haven't see a twist yet. I also have a Daiwa Tierra 2500 and it's also the nicest spinning reel i own.You can find these for under $100 if you look hard enough.

Nice reel,I just couldn't get used to it for some reason.It just felt too big and bulky to me. The new trion posted above has my attention though.

Same here... :-/ I fish along side a lot of shore anglers and i can tell you 75% of them are meat hunters.Even had a few get mad at me when they see me releasing a good size bass.Then i get bugged by them to give them my next catch.

You can see how subjective food is.....SONICs are everywhere around here - and I think their food is absolutely abhorrent! ;D Sonic's food does suck....Except their tater tots.About the only thing I'll eat from there When you try a good Coney Island restaurant around here...it'll make fast food chains obsolete from your eating places. ;D Only thing is we have hundreds of them here..you got to find a good one otherwise it'll ruin your Coney Island experience.

Wife got me hooked on Dexter last night. East bound and down..possibly one of my favorite Cable show right now.You got to have a sick sense of humor to enjoy that show... All that needs to come back is Spartacus now.And I'll be one happy dude through the winter month.

Literally had to wrestle a smallmouth bass on the ground as it broke my line as soon as i got it to shore. Nothing funnier or Funner than wrestling a 4 pound bass on a muddy bank....needless to say I was cover in mud from hands,knees,butt and shoes. Probably the best day fishing yet! Too bad nobody saw me do it.....It would have landed on America's funniest videos for sure.

Logically it is....but i fish where rocks and zebra mussels are.Braid line just won't work in that situation for me. I do have one set up that has braid on it for pond fishing. I use it a lot for those inline spinners..saves me tons of trouble with line twist on spinning reels.

You guys ain't missing much,their food sucks.I had it within 2 miles from my house(In Texas) and i still wouldn't eat there.Jack-in-the-box got my money every time and they were an extra 2 mile drive. The thing I'm most happiest with is they finally put a Sonic around here in Michigan.I LOVE Sonic's slushes.I try to stop there once a week to buy one.They seem to be doing really well too here.

Yeah would have went something like that....

Some young kid decides to drag strip speed in front of an entire group of kids at a bus stop waiting for the bus.He almost got his *** whipped by about 20 parents... Somebody called the cops...not sure how much they can do since the car is gone now.I got a feeling he's not going to be around for the next 3 days...he knows he ticked off too many people. Just imagine a kid coming across the street going to the playground to the bus stop and getting hit by a car going at least 55 MPH.Speed limit was 15 MPH.It wouldn't have been pretty that's for sure. :-/

Yeah,I probably wouldn't be able to do it anymore now either....My age is up there and I'm steady gaining weight.I'm not as fit as i used to be anymore either. It's just the camera bouncing around that's making people queasy. With the tight OSHA regulations nowadays I'm surprise this is even legal.
