Once again BTS amazes!! I was out Yesterday and got poured on. The water beaded up and when I pulled into the garage I wiped down the boat with a dry towel (or two). No streaks, no water marks, looked like i just did it. The seats I used BTS on beaded up and wiped dry better than Armour All. That was the most excited I have been when getting drenched AND getting skunked. I would recommend BTS (And Will) to everyone I know with a boat

If you are looking to spend around 600 for the Gps combo unit I would go for the Lowrance HD. You wont find a better one on the market.

Recieved my package of BTS yesterday. First, let me say that I am meticulous about my Stratos. It gets waxed after almost every trip to the lake. BUT, HOLY $#@@!!! This stuff is AMAZING I put on two applications and I can't believe what BTS did for the shine. It worked on everything I sprayed it on. Heck if you sprayed this stuff on an ugly person it would probably make them look like a model. AWESOME STUFF thanks for the tip everyone :( :D

I have a 96 Stratos with a 150Johnson, 18ft. This may sound like an odd question but I would LOVE to fish St. Clair however, for some reason I don't think this is enough boat for big water? I have been Ky lake and Patoka in IN. but St. Clair can put up some nasty waves ive heard Any thoughts? :-/

What part of the lake were you fishin? Canadian or US? I have a few buddies headin there to fish the mile markers from Gross pt up to metro

The extreme is a solid reel for the price. I own two and have had no issues. It definately isn't the best of the line but it gets the job done. I am right handed and also like the lefty rig on a baitcaster, but only if I am pitchin and flippin. i gotta admit it feels a bit weird reeling the lefty baitcaster but I have better feel holding the rod in my right hand. With spinnerbaits and cranks I prefer the right handed crank..

Hey all, I have been reading post about the do it yourself recarpeting and frankly, I don't think i have the time or patience to do it myself. Anybody know what the cost is to recarpet a boat? Its a 96 Stratos 18ft. Carpet isn't terrible by any means, just fading and getting matted down. I just thought new carpet would really sharpen it up.

If you are going to paint I would recommend something like Gorilla lining. It is slip resistent, cuts down on noise and is strong like bull.

I am currently looking to purchase a carrot stix rod. I have heard mixed reviews. Some have said that they broke which I found out was a production mistake, spined incorrectly. It was between these or the Shimano although I am not a big fan of the foam handle on the shimano. Any thoughts?

Yeah please post a report on the Dancin EEL. Mr. Dance seems to do well with them in loaded ponds but I am curious to see how they do on actual fish.
