Watermelon, and lemon laminate works pretty good. Also most dark colors will produce well.

Stink bait like catfish charley works pretty good.

I finally caught a river smallie worth talking about didn't measure it or anything but it was probably around 15 inches. Might not sound much but to me its something. Wisturkeyhunter who is a member here gave me good advice he's knows his bass. I caught it on a greenish snackdaddy snack stick. I was working it to fast but as soon as I slowed it down like he said the fish slammed it. I'm just real happy with this fatty river fish. Must have jumped 3 feet in the air. ;D
