Hooks for tubes?
i like the tube heads which are jigheads that fit into the tube but there is an exposed hook if u need to fish weedless a 4/0 Wide gap with a screw in weight or pegged weight rigged trig does the trick the size of the weight depends on the amount of vegation or whatever

yes i love finess worms i catch my biggest smallies on them my favorite is a 4inch powerworm in pumblikinseed they are alittle pricey for beggineers but they catch fish everywhere i fish for a larger worm i like the strike king 3x finess worm they are ok for both of them i use 3/0 worm hooks the 3/0 is alittle big for the 4in powerworm but it doesnt hurt the action and actually increases hook up percentage just carolina rig or texas rig them and they should produce for u o yea smallie im going down to try out my waders to make sure they dont have a hole in them and my dad needs to get his stuff so that we can go fishing up at erie for steelhead later in the year i think we are going to go fish gladens run the stream that dumps into wills below cooks mills then on the way home we are going to fish the feeder stream of the upper raystown branch called breast works for native brookies

yea get a 3.5 or 4 inch craw the number one bait for smallies are crawfish so yea 3.5=2/0 hook 4=3/0hook just so you know if i was u i would get 4inch craws and 3/0 hooks because i use 3/0 hooks for alot of my baits so this will save u from buyin abunch of different hooks

remember fishing cooks mills at the train trussel but we fished up stream? well the next two holes down stream are all roots on one side there are some roots right below the pit a few spots actually not way down by the camps but up farther i dont remember if we fished them or just went down to the timber there are some down by the border but the creek is alot bigger there and i doubt that we fished any of them at the camps between hyndman and fairhope at the bulldozer road there is a long shoreline of roots there i dont think we fished there either i actually only fished there once so yea i know u didnt fish there well i was reading your post on skirt grubs i dont have any and was wondering if it is worth buying and any tips on them

anyone fish around johnstown, pa or allegheny county, md??
yea in johnstown the creek is pretty bad i actually fish it up by the dam in hossople the creek is good there there are two Acid Mine Drainage creeks that dump into downstream from that so i stay above the first being shade creek in seanor so anywhere from seanor to the dam is all good fishing there is even some largemouth and really nice trout in it its actually just about 15 minutes from my house
