i take a small piece of masking tape or medical type and tape around the wire to make a tag then just write down the wieght on it nothing fansy just enough so u know how much it weights and so it comes off easy when u go to fish with it

a jerkbait, senko or craw if it is very hot out a finess worm

^^^lol but really what jigs are high end? i can think of some signature but they dont produce many more than the cheaper more generic ones well my favorite jigs are the bitsy bug and baby boo jig i like the jewel football jig alot too

i have the same problem when fishing creeks sometimes i will take a float tube that u sit in and fish just put alot of tackle in it and some rods just tie it on your belt and its always there it does get in the way alittle but works pretty good then for the river u can just jump in and fish out of it

i agree he was a good fisherman for being just a weekend angler he died way too young

well if i join the northeastern bass federation it will be the second weekend in april at a tournament at pretty boy but i dont have a boat so i think im just going to continue fishing the local weekend tournaments at glendale the queen and others around here the first weekend tournament is sometime in late april o yea there are those tuesday night big bass tournaments on glendale that i might start going to im not sure when they start

yea the basstrix should work then i need to go to the river alot more too i have a inflatable fishing tube i want to use alot this year at the river for floats i just want it to be spring already!!!!

post 100 on the thread lol i use chatterbaits but that is about it everything else is either cranking topwater or bottom bouncing nothing ripping well sometimes a grub but thats rare yea that is a bad time of year for a paddle tube we will definely make it back out this year sometime right?

yea the lakes around here i fish alot of creek bays and eddies i do really good on t rig worms and spinnerbaits small cranks work well around stomps

yea idk but i bet they will destroy it in the flats u should give me one lol jk yea i have no idea i want to use a hula grub there and the jig rig to see how it works

oreally cool i havent been down there for awhile i wonder how the construction is going

i decided to stop spending money on bucktails and make my own it seems easy i have jigheads and some fly tieing stuff that my dad uses. i need a starting point i tryed a 1/8 ounce jighead with about a 3inch deerhair tail and looks pretty good just wondering if anyone makes their own bucktails and has any advice or tips on how to make them better thanks

o really yea never fished up there man i cannot wait for the water to warm up to go bass fishing on wills but man im having a blast going up to erie steelhead fishing 2 trips both awesome

there is a creek in cumberland that has great bass fishing its called wills creek Good old deep creek lake has great smallmouth action as well

yea pretty cold like i said in the email hey i was wondering what other creeks u fish other than just wills and little wills like around johnstown

i like fihsing flooded rivers but this time of the year i just dont see the bass going that shallow they might move up and hang by the bank ledge but that will be it

lures work different for people and i have some of the coffee tubes but didnt get the chance to use them yet the only way you are going to find out how they really work is to go buy them and try them for yourself
