  2. Here is one out of a french fries mold I just finished
  3. Hope to hear about the first big ones that fall victim to those fine rods.
  4. When you get your new plastic it will pour much easier. If brought up to the right temp. it will fill your one sided mold, no problem. Temp.? About 350deg. Here and elsewhere there are great, easy to follow isntructions on everything from mold making to pouring. Be carefull, it can become another hobby!!
  5. I,m getting Mortons popcorn salt for just under 20 bucks a case, a case has 24, 1 pound containers.
  6. The cable runs from the foot control to the motor head. I can't remember what I payed last time but they are'nt expensive. I got mine from my local boat dealer, he keeps them in stock. If there is a bass boat dealer near you he should be able to hook you up
  7. They are not very hard to work on. I would take the cover off the head of the unit and take a look. You should be able to see whats going on if it's a gear problem. If it is'nt its probably the cable. You can change the cable in about 1/2 hr with little more than a phillips screw driver.
  8. WWW.tackleunderground.com is a great site that I've learned a great deal from for pouring soft plastics. They also have forums for building hard baits and wire baits. I think you will find many helpful people there to answer any questions you may have. Good luck! Cedar1
  9. Senkosam, I lucked out on the salt. I went to a local popcorn shop and he gave me the number for his salt supplier. It turned out they are only 1/2 hr from where I live so I save big time on the shipping
  10. Lake Erie-spring time- jerkbaits, spooks and spinnerbaits burned on the surface.
  11. Thanks Upnorth, I'll do that
  12. Tahts a nice looking job, I hope you kill 'em on it
  13. Can one of you guys that pour senkos tell me if I need softener in my plastic if I use M-F Super Soft? Right now using LC and the right amount of salt my baits are too stiff. I know if I continue to use LC I will need softener but what if I use M-F Super Soft? Thanks alot Cedar1

Here is some baits out of a resin mold I just poured
  20. A buddy of mine has done this to his last three boats. The latest is a new 206 Champion. Our local boat dealer (how fishes FLW) can't seem to get the after market version of them even though they are made, so my buddydid as you mentioned, he has them made out of stainless. They're sweet! You just have to have the nads to cut a hole in your new $$$$ boat. The two he installed previously were in ProCrafts, but the latest like I said was a Champion. Just be carefull, draw a pattern, cut the carpet first and you should'nt have any problems.
  21. A buddy and I were throwing crankbaits on a steep bank when he hooked two bass at once. At first we thought the second fish was following the hooked fish, but both were hooked and landed on the same bait.
  22. I'm hoping to fish with Ball_Coach_1 enough this year that I will learn how to fish a C-rig and some other deep water tactics.
