Pouring question
Thanks, I have a tube cutter coming. The skirts on those are a seperate pour and then fused to body. I think I figured out a way to pour a "modified tube" for this or should I say a "dipped tube" , anyhow, I think I got it. Not perfect, but it will work.

What do you throw at schooling bass?
I live on a lake that the bass school and chase shad alot, what works well for me is a white tube. I throw it at the school and jerk it hard two or three times then let it fall. It seems the farther down it sinks before getting bit the bigger the fish are.

Pouring question
Can anyone tell me how to make the skirts that are on Yamamoto creature baits? Its also the same as on the front of a chompers spider grub. I made the mold for the body but can't figure out the skirt.

Stiff steering. What to do???
I had the same problem on a 1986 ranger 373V I had years ago. The cables will rust and start to fray. I had to pull the motor to replace them. Hopefully you wont. I would surely go with the teleflex cables

Roadwarrior-True patron and bud
Roadwarrior sent me some tubes to try that are his best color and although I didn't get to give them a fair shake last year I'm going to give them a workout on Lake Erie smallies this year. Bottom line? Yes, the man is a great guy. Hats off to the ROADWARRIOR! ;D

Hand Pouring Monkey
Is there such a thing? Man, if there is he's got me by the short ones!! I can't quit buying stuff to pour baits with. Just what I needed another hobby. Oh well, at least it's related to a hobby I already have. This guy must be the bait monkeys' first cousin

Guys with docks
I had this problem once on a lake in N.Y. The problem dock owners have up there is just what Glenn stated, people getting hung up and breaking off instead of retrieving their baits. These people take their docks out every fall and are getting hooks and lures embedded in their hands every year. As embarassing as it may be, you need to remove any lures or hooks if possible

My first lures...
Tenka, got any pics of those bad boys since you painted them, or what would be way cool, one of them hanging out of a 5 lbrs mouth. Good luck with them!

Just poured my first worms!
Man, I SUCK!! > Just poured my first ever worms. Just straight tailed 6" worms. I can see how this can become a habit, it really is neat. My problem is I don't have a steady hand which causes a bit of a problem. I'm going to keep plugging away though and hopefully have something worthy of a picture before long.

Boat towing
On lake Erie we buy " tow in insurance." It's about 50 bucks a year and you get 3 tow ins of unlimited miles ( There are different plans). If you break down out there you better have it or it will cost a ton of money to get towed in. A buddy of mine got towed 17 miles at the cost of 750 bucks and that was about 10 years ago. He was lucky in that his insurance co. backed him because they considered it a life or death emergency to be broke that far out, buy he still had to pay up front or they wont bring you in.

Could someone please explain???
Maybe it had something to do with the wind blowing the warmer surface water to that end of the lake.
