  1. Can you imagine what a polygamist's "honey-do list" looks like?
  2. Those are some nice tournament fish. I'd be proud to have them at the weigh-in.
  3. Didn't Ryobi sponsor Hank Parker many years ago?
  4. Check with George Welcome at http://www.imaginationbassin.com/ He guides on Stick Marsh/Farm 13.
  5. This is a picture of a bass I caught a week ago. Check out how skinny she is. Would a bass be that thin simply as a result of having just spawned? The lake I caught her in, Lake Carr, seems to be full of baitfish and doesn't seem to have a lot of small bass.

My brother-in-law has a Denver Broncos logo tattooed on his forearm. He didn't realize it was the Broncos' logo; he just thought it looked like a cool picture of a horse.
  7. You kind reminded me of Mowgli from The Jungle Book.

Many moons ago I decided, after way too many cans of Falls City Beer, that I wanted a tattoo. I picked out what I considered to be a glorious eagle that I was going to have put on my right bicep. The tattoo artist allowed as how that was a good choice and that I should come back when I was sober and he would fix me right up. I objected that I wanted it right now. "I ain't never tattooed a drunk and I ain't gonna start now," he responded. God bless him. I haven't been drunk since.
  9. You beat me to it. I am no fan of the Buschs, but they drive about like Big E did and everyone seemed to love him. It looked to me like Junior came down on Busch and didn't give him enough room. I would like to see an overhead shot.
  10. These are some of the nicest folks you will ever encounter on the Web... as long as you bring beer.
  11. Glad to have you here. You did bring beer didn't you? I am in Tampa right now visiting my sister.
  12. That's funny. I had never heard that tip until today and now I have heard it twice.
  13. I have broken ribs on three occasions while mountain biking. At 57 I have given my mountain bike to my son-in-law, but still love road riding.
  14. Glad to have you aboard. Did YOU bring any beer?
  15. Does anyone have a poster or a piece of artwork that could be used for a poster to promote catch and release?
  16. Let's see... Truman was the president when I was born. The Jack Benny television show premiered. "Peanuts" first appeared in comic strips. I am 57 and have socks older than many of the guys on this forum.
  17. That plan of attack should work out pretty well. Don't worry about the beer. Gatorade will do just fine. 8-)
  18. We've been waiting for you! Did you bring beer?
  19. I am 57 years old and the most vivid memories of my childhood are of kind things that people did for me. I guarantee you that boy will remember what you did for the rest of his life.
  20. Just watched it last week. I was surprised at Tommy Lee Jones' role in the movie. As my son in law said, he almost served the role of a Greek chorus. Bardem played just about the baddest bad guy ever. I shudder to think of what his character did to the guy that gave him that hair cut. I watched 3:10 To Yuma Sunday evening. I wasn't expecting it to be such a psychological thriller in addition to it being a dandy horse opera. I found myself being tempted to like Russell Crowe's character, but then he would go and do something really despicable. I had a girlfriend lake that once.
  21. Well, I got a response: "I have just received your email and I apologize for the behavior that you experienced at Lake Carr yesterday evening, the boat was being driven by my son and his friends . At this time I have no idea who was using such foul language but it was my son's responsibility to ensure appropriate behavior. This matter will be dealt with sternly. Again, I apologize." Way to go, Mom.
  22. I was fishing in a small lake here in Tallahassee yesterday when a bunch of young guys showed up with a Tahoe I/O ski boat. The lake is so small that they could only ski in circles. I really didn't have a problem with them skiing. What I had a problem with was the language they were using. I finally pointed out to them that their voices carry on the water and that there were people on the lake with little children. It didn't stop them. Every time the boat stopped we were regaled by repeated F-bombs. When I left the lake I noticed that the truck that had pulled the ski boat to the lake was owned by a local business. I sent the owner an E-mail last night asking him to have a visit with his son about respecting other people. I am waiting for a response.

If you buy the Frog Toggs, be sure to get bibs.
  24. i know that im biased but how has he had a poor showing this year. cant remember were exactly he is in the standings i think around 7 but he has been consitantly in the top 10's and 5's. That's why I said "relatively". He hasn't won yet. Most anyone else would be tickled with his season so far.
  25. I will admit to a little bit of schadenfreude this year when it comes to Stewart's relatively poor showing so far. I can't abide a whiner. I wish he would get sponsored by Gillette and have to shave before going out in public.
