Have tried them once when it first came out. Didn't bother buying them again. The plastic dried up and became stiff. No bass either.

Rapala Sure Set hooks?
Had the SS changed out to #6 (front) & #4 (rear) So far so good. To put the SS to good use I put 1 on Sammy (rear) that should reduce a short strike. I'll leave the SS on other DT for open water situation. Appreciated the feedback.

Cheater (Robby Rose) caught, cuffed and stuffed.
I was doing a bit of research. Mr. Rose fished solo most of the time in team tournaments and won bunch of em when went solo. Find it hard to believe! http://www.centraltexasonline.com/caba/mt6-14-08.htm He was one of the two that brought in limits out of 235 teams! http://www.123people.com/ext/frm?ti=person%20finder&search_term=robby%20rose&search_country=US&st=person%20finder&target_url=http%3A%2F%2Flrd.yahooapis.com%2F_ylc%3DX3oDMTVnMmk3azE2BF9TAzIwMjMxNTI3MDIEYXBwaWQDc1k3Wlo2clYzNEhSZm5ZdGVmcmkzRUx4VG5makpERG5QOWVKV1NGSkJHcTJ1V1dFa0xVdm5IYnNBeUNyVkd5Y2REVElUX2tlBGNsaWVudANib3NzBHNlcnZpY2UDQk9TUwRzbGsDdGl0bGUEc3JjcHZpZANDRFAzTUdLSWNybzhySFF4Rm1iOHdXVm1XODV4dkVyWlBJd0FBRjd2%2FSIG%3D12gbe2am0%2F**http%253A%2F%2Fwww.fishingworld.com%2FNews%2FRead.php%253FArtID%3D000019429%2526BID%3D000024113§ion=weblink&wrt_id=227 There are more but you get the picture. Unbelievable.

Rapala Sure Set hooks?
I went out for couple hours today and not a strike on new DT6 SS. I kinda figured that the hooks are worthless and they sure do grab some wood today! Will be sure to have the hooks changed out for my next outing. Didn't know I'd lose more fish because of that. Appreciate the heads up guys! The reason I went with the SS is because of the color Brown Bone (sorta hard to find) that are only available in SS. Thanks again!

New Rotating treble hooks
Might be good for flutter spoon due to leverage so those rotating hooks would increase the hook up ratio?

Rapala Sure Set hooks?
Does anyone remove one or both of their stock hooks? Got my first SS in yesterday and by the look of it I don't think I will like the hooks design. I'd imagine both of the hooks get tangled easily when tossed and not to mention it seem like a wood grabber! Do you guys leave em as it is or replace with a regular treble on front or rear or both?

Beware of this guy
Pasted from other site. Alleged Cheating incident 10/27/2009 An alleged cheating incident arose this past weekend that has the Texas fishing community buzzing. The alleged incident took place at the Lake Ray Hubbard Bud Light Trail (BLT) Big Bass Tournament on Saturday, Oct. 21. USA Bass Trails declined to name the angler in question, but did issue the following statement: "During an hourly weigh-in at the BLT Ray Hubbard Big Bass Tournament an angler brought a large fish to the weigh-in checkpoint. The fish was transferred from the weigh bag containing the fish to the official weigh bag. The BLT tournament director, after weighing the fish, asked that the fish be put in a holding tank behind the weigh-in stage. This fish would have been the largest fish of the hour. After the hourly weigh in was completed the angler was asked to take a polygraph. This is required for all participants who catch the biggest bass of the hour. During inspection of the fish by the fish handler and the tournament director, irregularities were discovered. A decision was made by tournament officials to interrupt the polygraph and have the angler and polygraph examiner witness an inspection of the bass. "The angler was asked to remove the contents in the stomach of the bass or the contents would be inspected by BLT officials by whatever means possible. The angler chose to remove the contents and a lead weight was removed from inside the fish and handed to a tournament official. The angler then apologized to all who witnessed the removal of the lead weight. He was notified by the tournament director that he was disqualified. No objection or explanation was given by the angler as he left the weigh-in location. The fish and lead weight were then reweighed separately and pictures were taken. The Texas Game Wardens were immediately notified. Statements were given by tournament officials and all evidence was given to the Texas Game Wardens." USA Bass Trails also stated: "All of us involved with the BLT program are saddened by this situation and the impact it may have on the angler, his family and friends. The BLT officials will cooperate with the legal authorities as they proceed with the evidence provided to the Game Wardens. The BLT officials, speaking both as anglers and tournament providers, want our anglers and sponsors to know that we will do our best to provide a fair and honest tournament event. We wish to thank all the anglers who have fished with us this year and hope that you will continue to do so." Local sources confirm the angler in question is Robby Rose a noted name in the region who also fished the Bassmaster Invitationals and Opens from 1997 to 2004. RobbyRose.com has been shuttered, although a brief statement and apology from Rose apparently did appear on the site before it went dark. The allegations have brought into question many of Rose's wins through the years, including at least three boats won in the Skeeter/Bass Champs circuit. One example is the 2007 Lewisville Bass Champs. That event fielded 194 teams. Only six limits came to the scales. Rose and his partner Robert Alexander won by a pound and a half with a 17.92-pound limit. Rose passed a polygraph examination for that win, and several others.

JJ's storage
I have 4 of JJ's in Plano Utility box with no problem. I learned my lesson not to leave it on the deck exposed to the sun, it boils when you dip your plastic.

Going to Kentucky Lake- any recommended guides?
I never use a guide but if you really have to hire one I'd recommend Dave Stewart. I was there last June for national team tournament. Placed in 9th out of 63 teams. I haven't fish at the bank, stick with the offshore for 3 days.

Strike King's new Sexy Sunfish
What the hell 4bizz. Seriously what make you think that, base on what, my picture or the way I write or what. If its because of my writing skills, I'm sorry I try as best I can because I am deaf and don't have writing talents like all of you. I see the light that many of you couldn't stand me for some reason. I'll do ya favor by stop writing. Embarrassed myself enough as it is.
