Have one. Used it a few times last year. Bone Crackle but, I used black permanent marker to make spots on its side like frog pattern. Casting distance is good, like Spro Bronzeye. Just retrieve like you do buzzbait.

Jaheff, if I were you I'd check both of them and see which one I like. If you like Dawia then great if you like Quantum then great. The only difference is brand name. If there's a problem with a reel then return it. It your call not others.

From the look of picture the handle looks to be real short. It remind me of my old 7' tour edition fiberglass but dislike the length of handle. Don't want to buy those rod if they are also short. Anyone knows how long is the handle on 7'6 American Rodsmith? Thanks.

Thanks Francho. In case you were not aware, P-Line CXX is thicker than Sufix mono. About .002" diameter thicker.

How is it compare to Elite? Haven't try the Seige but Elite and really like it.

No difference. Have used it, same result. KVD stated that he had the same problem with fluoro that fluff up on him so I know it not just me

Done good with 1/2oz. WarEagle spinnerbait and GY's creature. I don't get the Fat Ika, rigged both ways, not a dam nibble. Guess it doesn't work in my neck of woods.

Interesting. On other board, one of 27 members like fluoro and one for braid while the rest of them prefer mono. Chris I currently use fluoro for deep cranking but, thinking about switching back to mono due to several reason. Constant backlashes with fluoro only with deep crank outfit. Rarely do I get birdnest when casting spinnerbait or worms with fluoro except deep diver that gives me a fit. I don't know if switching to mono will solve the problem for me. Moneywise, yes it would.
