Any reviews on either of these baits??? I was looking at the kicker shad and 6" trout in shad pattern. Can you burn them or do they have to be fished slow? Any other info?

how are you guys using the 6.5"??? I know RW uses them on a shaky. Anyone else? I'm a little worried it's to large for a shaky rig.

If you're using braided line, you have no reason to worry about the hookup ratio. I use 30-lb braid on spinning tackle (6" x 1oz Huddleston Weedless Trout5), and hooking-up presents no problem. The action of the weedless Hudd is subtle & attractive, and it's very weedless, which is a must in Florida. On the downside however, the weedless-slot on top of the head, tends to fall apart. Roger The body of water I mainly fish is quite clear. I was going to use floro.

As the title suggests. Weather looks as though it will be cooperating (50's). I'm thinking Burke or the river. Anyone else getting out?
