That seems long even for BPS, usually I recieve my orders within 10 days, when you ordered did you notice they had a "if item is on back order may we send it to you at another time " and if you clicked it or not?

Also had one follow a small jerkbait up to shore nothing big but it was exciting, gave up the jerkbait not to long after as I dont have the paitence for it

four mile run was a hit today boys, the crappie are in and the bass are still there, even managed to catch a 4lb carp on a crappie tube. Overall managed maybe a dozen crappie, 4 bass, and a carp in the 2 hours that I was there, not too shabby. I was on the southern side next to the toyota dealership, moved maybe less than 50 yards. Water was clear and fish were visible esp the schools of perch and crappie near the banks. Bass were a little deeper hugged up against the bridge supports.

It seems snaggy, how far out does that erosion barrier extend to? Were you going to walk the bank or take your jonboat out?

I've been there twice caught one bass out by the airport and a blue cat and near the discharge have pulled out one small dink, as far as knowledgeable, I'm sure your guess is as good as mine... Did a quick google search and it seems that the bass are in there during the colder months, jerkbaits and jigs might be the ticket

Or, is it possible that you have been incorrectly identifying mayans vs. oscars all along? Please don't take that as an insult because I don't know them as anything other than "not a bass." I just know that sometimes people, including myself, hold incorrect fish identification methods. I thought warmouths and green sunfish were the same thing....i know you remember that...

I actually had the honor of meeting Ad Konings, he was a guest speaker at one of our club meeting, (Capital Cichlid Association) great guy and you could clearly see the man was passionate about what he was talking about.
