  3. I was always told that the hook would desolve from whats in the fishes system?? any one ever heard this ?? Or is this a nother fish story?
  4. There is stuff out there you can make your own molds with,, how to seal the 2 halves if the mold is not aluminum? I do not know,, I think you can make a 1 pc. mold with an open top.. ( having a flat side on the bait ). say with a worm, mold 3/4s or more of the way around it.I have had good luck with flat side worms.. senko style and rigged,,I really think the color. scent & presintation is way more important than the worm itself..I have caught many fish on tatered senko's.. -- I will check my notes on how many worms from a gallon,, -- also take in that,,,, you will need,, molds color glitter scent plastic salt other additives if wanted a way to heat the plastic a way to pour the plastic a place to make the baits that is well vented.. ---- I make my own and love it.. but it ended up being a lot more than I thought it would.. Jeff
  5. Wow, there are some very impressive catch ratio's here, !!!! and some very good info too.. keep it coming.. thanks guys Jeff
  6. R.W., Are you sugesting 4/0 EWG hooks for wacky Rigging?? and, for the drag setting,, say If I am using 12# mono on a spinning reel ( open Face ) then set the drag with a scale @ apx. 3.5 pounds? Jeff
  7. What would you guys think is a normal,, or average catch ratio..??? for instance this morning I... got 3 bass in the boat.. had 3 others jump & throw the hook,, 2 others got off under water.. 1-got my worm and swam away.. and 3-4 more that I just plain missed the hook set... these were on wacky rigged senkos.. this was a bad landed fish & unlanded fish ratio for me.. but usually with missed hook sets & fish offs I run about 50/50 what kind of catch ratio do you guys average ?? thanks Jeff
  8. We have a small lake here in Mid Michigan that has went through an almost complete fish kill this spring..It was an awsome bass lake before this,,The bass that are left are redish color on gills & belly & do not have much fight..,, there were Gills, Bass,Cats and Crappies belly up all over the place ..THe DNR are working on the problem ,,but have only told the people its some sort of Virus..They also have said it has infected 57 lakes in Michigan this spring..They also think its a spring virus only and it doesn't carry onto the summer months ??They figure it was carried around by Birds & other fling animals., ( Ducks & geese ect. ) Its very sad..Still wondering if we are getting all the info on this??? Jeff
  9. What tactics & baits have you tried so far ??
  10. I do not know just what happens.. but the barametric pressures changes when A storm moves in,, and if the pressure drops ( I think ) the bite improves.. maybe some one else can elaberate on this pressure deal.. Jeff

I put the hook under the 0-Ring?? not through it ... the hook doesn't go through any of the worm.. is that propper..??? it seems to work !!! Jeff
