The "FAT" ika only comes in -1- size.

If you remove the twin tails on the grub it would be similar. The fat ika's body is much larger around so it a little heavier. if you do find the fat ika's in stores they never have a good selection of colors.Lucky if we have 3-4 colors around us. I do not think its a great seller for them. Even though I love that type bait.

You can always mix a few of the worms you have in with the bottled plastic. use them up a few at a time.

I have and still use Anchor & Pyrex with no issues.

This can be done,, use a microwave,,but there will be some fumes so you should wear some type of mask & use a micro that you will not be using for food.Get a used one at a yard sale.Should also have a vented room, fan to exhaust fumes or do it out in the garage with doors open or out side.Make sure you get a good measure cup. Glass by Pyrex or Anchor Hocking use these 2 only.They are the best and cheap ones can exsplode under the heat. now cut up the worms into 1/2 " long pc. Then make sure you have the 1 cup glass measure cup at least 1/2 full with cut up worm pc.Then put in micro for 1 minute, then take out and stir ( some guys use gloves ) heat again for 1 minute & stir. when they start to melt drop the heat sessions down to 30 seconds. If you over heat these they will burn.So us short heat sessions & stir each time. Try to melt worms ( or other baits ) that are the similar color, if you mix a bunch of colors your not sure what color it will turn out.Also some brands do not melt as good as others. if you would like more info.

I think you will need to make air vents from the very tip of the leg. but not sure there is any way to direct the air out of the mold ? the legs are very close together?? maybe a " ^ " shape to connect each leg tip.. then from the top or peak a straight line down between the legs ???? good luck. ohh,, maybe at the peak of the ^ drill a hole.. ??

I hand pour & have some guys that ask for coffee scent & they do well with it... it smells great.. the best one for the bait maker to have to smell while making the baits..some scents are hard on the eyes & nose for the maker.

band the center of 6" - 8" sections. that gives you 3"-4" skirts after they bloom back. if you need more help.. PM me, I have a skirt band exspander and can do some for ya, if you need.

so you got some collars or bands.? make the skirt 1st. then put it on the bait. if you have the stretchable bands.. you need to use 2 sections of skirt.. ( some guys use more or less ) 20 strands each.. total apx. 40 strands.. lay 2 separate sections of 20 strands each on top of each other flat on the table, now you have 40 strands. the collar goes near the center of the strands. so when it blooms back when you reteive it your getting 80 strands blooming back. if you are using a zip strip.. 1st lay the zip down.. then lay 1- 20 strand skirt section on it near center of skirt then lay bait on the 1st section of skirt w/ zip under it . ( make sure the bait is laying rite where the zip goes when you zip it.0 then lay 2nd section of skirt on top of the bait. then zip um all together. and go fish.
