I have never used a hollow bodied frog. Guys say there great? I hand pour my own soft plastic frogs and the feet make noise when you reel it back.. works awsome !!!! Texas rig them weedless & weightless..

if there is some shallows , pads and or scum on the water.. a top water weedless frog.. I have had great luck lately on a local pond in the heat with a Skirted double tail grub-black/ blue.. texas rigged 1/16 oz. bullet retreived very slow across the bottom.

I use Coffee scent in a lot of my hand poured baits.. worms,,phat-eez ( * ),, critters (flappin hog )and a craw jig trailer .. It works great and smells good too. Jeff

I was told to NEVER use mineral oil.. they said that after time it will make the baits harder. any one ever hear this ? Jeff

Yes, a cloth sewing tape is the best.. they roll up small and fit in the box fine. measure your length,, girth and maybe get the height too. The pictures are used to get the colors and details of the fish to look as close to the original as poss. Good Luck on that BIG one. !! Jeff

I have caught a lot of fish on my own hand pours with coffee scent added. And it smells kinda good when you are making the baits. Some of the scents smell kinda bad ( very strong ) when making baits.

Let me give my 2cents guys. --- ----- Yamamoto fat ikas are not hand poured. the body & skirt are injected as 2 pc. then are put together. You guys are rite some of yamis skirts are not on straight. --- now for mine.. also, some of the skirts are not straight.. The body is hand poured by me.. skirts are so fine they need to be injected. So thats makes it so I have to buy the skirts. And pay shipping to get um. and to get a reasonable price.. buy 1000 each color. now I have apx. $ 1000.00 in skirts. the cost of the skirt is MORE than the cost of the plastic to make the body. Then the skirts are attached to the body at a later time by me with heat. not many people do them because they are not a very quick pour. in order to make good money you need to make lots of baits per hour. It takes a lot of time.. I can do 40-45 baits per. hour. Sorry. that you all feel I am charging too much for these. :-[ If I could buy a 55 gal drum of plastic and have a way to use it after I got it.. and where to put it ? not sure what the shipping would be? its close to $ 30.00 to ship a 5 gallon pail.. and buy 10,000 of each skirt then I could do it cheaper. but at this time I do not have the space or funds for that. sorry again guys,

We have great sucess with this bait.. RW hit it.. 3/0 ewg Worm hook, Texas, weedless. I also use a 1/8 oz bullet not pegged.. Fish this dude just like a senko style bait off the bottom.. most all places I fish its to weedy for an exsposed hook or jig head. Black & blue rocks.. We also get some Smallies in the river with these in green pumpkin.. Didn't Yami discontinue the skirted single tail baits ? Jeff

I used to use a steel rod too. But it seems to me that its easier to lift the salt & glitter off the bottom of the cup with a steel spoon.. Earth worm,, are you the one I got the Fat-Zillas from ?

through the gill worked for me the other day,, 1st time I tried it.. what I have done in the past is... through the gill I use a side cutter and cut the line eye end of the hook off and then grab the hook with needle nose at the cut off and push the point through and pull the hook out point 1st. works great too,
