I am really glad to see the site back up and running. I have dealt with Bells Palsy all week and the steriod they give me has kept me awake for the most part. Was soooooooooooooooooooo lonely here not having BR to read. Thanks Glenn, now i will have something to do while i'm not sleeping. LOL

Since i have been coming to BR, with what little knowledge i had about fishing, this forum as added to that greatly. Tonight was a prime example. I have read several threads and when ppl talk about fishing being slow to down size. Well tonight was extremely slow, so i was thinking about reading all that and i down size. Not long after i down sized i was able to put one in the boat. Had i not read that here, i would have never done that and for that i would like to send out a thanks to Glenn for making this and the mods for the help they put in keeping it up and to all those great ppl in here that are giving out the knowledge they have learned along the way. Thanks guys, keep it coming

I had a friend that happened to. We was fishing one night and a bat became tangled up in his line. He done all he could to get it free from the line. But like me, he was not going to bring it into the boat he ended up cutting his line. Don't know what happened to the bat.

My son is 15 and likes to fish, however he does not like bass fishing cause he considers it to slow. Just so you know he is ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) he does not like to sit still very long. Is there anything that I can do or try that might help into staying sit long enough in a boat to learn to bass fish??? I really would like for him to be my fishing partner.

Getting skunked, LOL, that happens to me a lot. What I do if i plan to leave at a certain time I usually spend the last 30 minutes to a hour working on something that i'm not good at. Right now, that is currently the drop shot. I have already been skunked. So, why not practice a little.

When I fish my primary weapon of choice is a black/blue jig. I use a zoom chunk trailer 90% of the time. When or if you fish a jig. What types of trailers do you use?

I use spinner baits and can catch fish with them. I just know the spinner bait i like. But, i don't think i have ever understood the differnce between the 2. And after reading several topics and different ppl saying "use a spinner bait with colarodo blade" or "Use a spinner bait with willow blades" What does the 2 do different from each other and how do you choose which type to use?
