  1. Annndddd...they're off STX Baby!!
  2. I work right next door to a Dollar General. Back cooler is full of 32oz, ice-cold Dad's. I probably slam ten a week.
  3. Why would I want to do that?? ;D

Who's with me? Here I am again been up since 6am and leaving for the lake in about 3 hours. Never had a problem with it before the last 6 months or so. Anybody know any good remedies??? I really prefer not to take any drugs, but this is getting ridiculous.
  5. x2. But, I am finally letting the Ragetail hype get to me. Picked up a couple packs of the smaller Anacondas and they're goin with me tomorrow.
  6. Been fishing a decent little pond about 5 minutes from the house. All of the lakes that I fish are about 45 mins to an hour.
  7. I went with alternative. I listen to everything under the sun except rap/hip-hop If I could only listen to one genre for the rest of my life it would definitely be grunge. Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Nirvana=the best period of music in my lifetime.
  8. Flame away, but my 6'9" MH/F carrot stix are great for cranks and spinnerbaits up to 3/8oz. When I am in my float tube, these are the two that I bring with me. I don't like to carry more than 2 setups bc it's a hassle. They cover most techniques quite well.
  9. Trilene 100% in 12, 15 or 17 depending on the amount of cover.
  10. Sweet!! Ima grab me a high speed STX.
  11. Looks like you got it made, bro. Beautiful little pond
  12. Dude!! I can not agree with you anymore. I was ranting about this today at work. Was pretty much my only flavor for about 15-20 years, and then they just rip it away!! Bastages! Anybody else remember O'Boises potato chips. They were made by Keebler & were the bomb. Best food to leave & then make a comeback.....Pudding Pops
  13. They're not the top end by any means, but I'll never get rid of my Falcon Lowriders.
  14. I've been using the Mann's indiana-colorado for a long, long time. They can be kind of a pain with the loop on the end, but they put out a thump like nobody's business. Have also killed 'em on the Wallyworld $1 specials.
  15. So you've gotten so used to catching toads at this Honey Hole that you have to use UL gear to get a rush. Not cool, bro. I'm so jealous it hurts. Seriously though, another great report.
  16. Rod: Falcon Lowrider Lizard Dragger Reel: Revo STX Line: 20lb trilene 100%; Leader 15lb Yo-Zuri Baits: Lake Fork Ring Fry; Mann's Hardnose Lizard; 10" power worm
  17. Been lurking for years & actively posting for a few months. Just realized that I never formally introduced myself. I'm 29 and live in Oklahoma City. Born & raised in West Texas. Grew up fishing Alan Henry, Ivie & Mackenzie. Have enjoyed my time on BR very much so far and look forward to getting to know you guys better. I apologize for being so rude and not introducing myself sooner.
  18. Really enjoyed the post! Looks like an absolute blast.
  19. I really like an old-school Kastmaster for these kind of drop offs. You can cast it a mile and it gets down deep pretty quick. Just yo-yo it back in trying to stay just off the incline(sand I assume?) Jig also looks good here. I don't do much finesse fishing, but a drop shot seems like it would work.

That's sick, dude. Just once I wanna walk up on some crackhead trying to break into my truck......... When I was in school, I lived in the ghetto and got 2 radios jacked. They were junk, but still burns me up.
  21. Great way to mess up a pond.
  22. I've got nothing at all against the whales and I'm all for conservation, but I find myself rooting for the whalers. The entire crew is a bunch of uber geeks playing pirates. That being said, I watch every week and laugh my a** off everytime they screw up a "mission". They have absolutely no business being in the middle of the ocean with a wanna-be crew. I'm sure the entire ship reeks of arrogance & hippie farts.
  23. That is correct, sir. Can't wait for football season.
