  6. same here I have comcast and I can't get it to work
  7. I used to fish out of a canoe alot, as everyone else said the wind is the hardest part about it. I used to fish with 2 other people in a medium sized canoe and it was pretty stable. My friends would even stand up alot and it would still be fine. But you have to learn how to cast sitting down cause you can't stand up all the time.
  8. I agree with everyone bps is not one of my favorite stores. Earlier this year there was a guy who worked in the fishing department who didn't know what a swimbait was. I mean come on, having u been living under a rock the past year. Also the guys a bps looked at me like I have no idea what I was talking about. Some guy was trying to lecture me on how to cast a baitcaster, after I made it clear that I already own multiple baitcasters. It would be nice if they had people that know what they are doing and how to properly interact with customers.
  9. I don't live in maine but I fish there a good amount over the summer. My family has a house very far up north, what area do you guys live in?
  10. Love the action of this bait, its amazing. I got the bluegill color and I think its one of the better paint jobs I have seen. What color did u get? As for the pin I slid it all the way up so you have to poke it out with something, feels tight to me. I wouldn't worry about it falling out.
  11. I have the newest version of this baitcaster and it has held up for about 2 years now, casts great and is worth the amount it costs.
  12. wat time do you guys think would be the best to go? I was thinking of going when its supposed to be the warmest.

  14. yes this river is in the east. the majority of it has ice along the shore but there are parts that has no ice all the way to the shore, thats where i will be casting. no damns, the only man made thing along the river is just on concrete bridge.
  15. Well with a week off from school, me and my friends are looking to fish any open water we see. As of right now the only open water we can find is a river, which I have only fished once but know it has fish. Its about 50 feet across, stained water, water temp is just above 35, outside temp is around 40. The depth of the area I will be fishing is between 5-8 feet. I will be fishing from the shore so what types of things should I look to cast too and what do you think I should use. There is some isolated brush along the shore. I was thinking retrieving jerkbaits really slow and crawling a jig slowly across the bottom. Any tips?
  16. I think the amazing action will make up for the size, plus I fish up north so that's about the size of the baitfish. so it works for me ;D
  17. They were both on sale one the internet too, I ordered one and my friends ordered some too. Received them and they look great, great deal ;D
  18. I recently purchased a 4 inch tru tungsten swimbait. One of my better purchases in a while. Its a swimbait but it is extremely light and can be thrown on a crankbait rod. So you don't have to have some huge rod to throw it. The action is amazing in the water. Just waiting for the ice to go away so I can see if it will catch fish. But seeing the action and the quality of the lure I am impressed so far. Also you can't go wrong with Lucky Crafts such as sammys, pointers, bds etc. Excalibur also makes a great lipless crankbait
  19. Mine came out fine when I pulled it out on the bottom with pliers. as others have said try using something small and push it out from the top.
  20. Same here except I got the master right after new years
  21. Good to hear I picked up some this winter, hoping to use it for the first time soon. thanks for reassuring me that it was a good purchase.
