Lake Trout (Pics)
I used a orange spoon, which caught me three trout in the evening and a rapala which caught me a trout in the morning. These trout fought alot but only when they got close to the boat. You would have a little resistance reeling them in but then once they got 10 yards from the boat they would take off. Alot of fun

setting hooks on wacky rigged senkos
Just a thought I stopped using o rings when my dad got me onto using zip ties. They are alot cheaper and they hold the worm tighter. As for a hook set I agree with almost everyone else

I need a new scale
Look at cabelas and bps they have some nice scales that are affordable. I personally have a 50lb cabelas digital scale that was $20. Works great except for the hook should be sharper for the fish to hang on. but all in all its a great scale.

Whats the strangest way you've seen people fishing?
i've seen people fishing off a bridge into a river using a spool of line with a pencil through it. they had a hook on the end of the line but it didn't look like they had any bait on it.

Any ideas?
Hey guys, I have been fishing this one pond for about a year now and I have only had success with soft plastics. I'm happy with the fish I catch on soft plastics but I wanna gain more experience in some other techniques. Do u guys have any ideas what other lures or techniques would work in this pond. There is pretty solid lily pad cover around the pond, at the deepest the pond is about 10 feet deep. The water is also very stained and is full of underwater cover along the shoreline. I have used crankbaits and spinnerbaits with no success.

How many do you catch on average?
I have only done pond fishing this season so far and I average about 10 fish a trip. But soon i will be lake fishing and in lakes i tend to catch about 20 fish. but it depends on the conditions and it varies alot

need advice on O-Wacky Tool
Just from my experiance I have found that clips work alot better than o rings becuase they are cheaper and the worm doesn't get pulled out of them like it did when I used o rings.

Most productive Senko or Salty Trick Worm colors
any variation of watermelon but it mostly depends on water clarity

Another frog thread: SPRO
I have the natural green spro frog and I used it for the first time yesterday and it was incredible. for about the first 10 cast I got about 8 hits. I'm not the most experienced frog fishermen so I couldn't land them, but next time I know I will be able to them now that I got the feel of the frog. I'm using a slow to medium retrieve with the aggressive pop. The fish seemed to hit right after the frog popped. I got more hits along banks with trees and other plants along them than around lily pads. I'll be using the frog again wed afternoon so I will let you guys know how I do.
