    Exactly
  3. Where I live in Mass I mostly fish for largemouth, I will be heading up to my house in Maine for a week. Last time I was up there I found a great spot for smallies. I was catching them on senkos, but I was wondering what else do u guys use to fish for smallies? The spot has lily pads and the bottom is pretty rocky.
  4. Happened to me once, my line was around tip of my rod so I was taking it off and a fish hit it so I pulled and set the hook with my had. Great Story
  5. Likes long walks on the beach ;D
  6. Haha exactly what I was thinking, interesting story
  7. I have never seen one in mass or maine. My dad has been fishing for many years and he has also never seen one.
  8. Glad he is gone, i'm sick of all his antics, but u know what they say its just manny being manny.
  9. what a terrible story, I will be wearing sunglasses more now 8-)
  10. The first one looks better, and great fish!
  11. Congrats be sure to tell us when it airs
  12. I use zip ties and tighten them to how I want.
  13. thanks for the suggestions. just wondering if anyone has used the bps nitro reel. Its made for big baits and it reasonable priced.
  14. Heys guys I planning on getting some swimbaits soon (first one is in the mail now ;D ) But I was wondering if the rod and reel I have now could deal with big swimbaits. I have a 6'6 Medium Heavy Rod, and a 6.3:1 gear ratio baitcaster spooled with 20 pound braid. This setup has worked for me when fishing soft plastics, crankbaits, jerkbaits and spinnerbaits. But I really haven't fished with anything bigger than 5 inches. Thanks and if they setup isn't suited for swimbaits, could I maybe get some suggestions for a better setup. Thanks
  15. wouldn't wanna throw that in the water, closest it would get to fishing would be casting in the back pool, where i couldn't lose it. haha but those look amazing
  16. Shaking with excitement can't wait for these to be available ;D

You can add in the occasional pop and then pause and continue this in your retrieve.
  18. Boy that sure was lucky, my friend recently lost his rod and reel and is now trying to get it back. Similar story once my dad dropped a rod in the water when we were trolling and what do u know 5 min later I get a hit and reel it up and on the end of my lure is my dads rod. Bet ur son was happy
  19. Same here, they sink like a rock and the action is terrible
  20. Bassmaster and the occasional Field & Stream
  21. Thanks for the suggestions, keep them coming. I was also wondering if anyone has tried ABT Lure Company Swimbaits. Some of them look very good and they aren't too pricey. Here is the link http://www.***.com/catpage-SWMABT.html
  22. Hey guys, I thinking about trying some hard swimbaits soon and I was just wondering what you guys think are most reliable and catch fish. Thanks for ur input cause i'd hate to spend all that money on one and have it have terrible action.
  23. My dad mostly and all the people on bassresource who give me lots of tips. ;D
