I like KVD books try reading his Bass Strategies book it really good haven't read his other book but I heard it was good. He teachs you many realiable facts but he makes them easy to understand.

My goal for 08 is to catch as largemouth over 6 pounds which I know is possible because I know a spot that has many of these and last year I didn't get to fish it during the best times to fish and I still managed some nice 4 pounders. For small mouth i'm hoping for 4+ pounds

Yea well with temps in the 50s in Mass I might do some casting from a dock this weekend to hold me over for a little while. Honestly I wouldn't care if I caught anything just would like being out there and fishing again. But I would love to catch something ;D

I also organized my tackebox, spent a decent amount of money at BPS and watch and read alot about fishing. Just keep hoping for the spring thaw.

Haha well we are almost there, a nice sign of spring is 08 spring fishing catalogs arriving. that helps me survive the long winter months. in mass this coming week we are getting 50-60 degree weather so hopefully I may be able to find some open water

Up here in Mass the weather is constantly cold and snowy. All I can think about is getting on the water and everytime i think about fishing the weathers seems to get colder and the winter days go on forever. > I know i want spring to come. How are you guys dealing with the winter months.

i get one every year, i have order products from the catalog thats why i think they have kept sending them to me. haven't gotten the hardcover one this year, one day i got 4 cabelas magazines but no hardcover master one. should be coming soon

I fish a similar pond alot during the summer with great success (5+ pounds). I fish alot of senkos either texas rigged or wacky rigged and cast them close to the edges of the weeds and lily pads. Also later in the summer crank baits produced some nice fish. Try alot of stuff until u find the bait that works. Good Luck

I saw the Booyah Dancing buzzbait on Bill Dances show and it was catching some nice fish. So I decided I would give it a try and I picked it up at BPS. I won't be fishing till the spring but I just wanted to know what you guys think about it before I throw it in the water. Thanks
