  1. Hey everyone saw these recently on Cabelas and just wondering if anyone has tried them, supposedly its all the rage in Japan. Also anyone who has used them what size weight would you recommend for using on 5 inch baits. Thanks
  2. Amazing that's all I can say
  3. Ike, I met him and he was a great guy. plus he is from the northeast so I have to root for him.
  4. Was going to lip a smallie and the hook point went into my palm past the barb. Somehow the hook moved slightly when my friend was removing it from the fish and it just fell out. But my whole palm was sore for the rest of the day.
  5. Haven't used the KVD net but the Bass Pro Shops rubber net works very well and I think its only half the price.
  6. Wow amazing fish and great pics, I can only dream of catching bass in January

  8. Everything is cleaned and ready just waiting for the weather. At the beginning of the winter I was fine but now I am really starting to miss fish. Come on spring!
  9. I have had one for about three years now. I used it regularly for quite a while and it worked great. It was pretty sensitive and very durable for a wide variety of techniques. For the price I really liked it, although I don't use it much now because I spent more money on expensive rods. But overall its a solid rod
  10. Just wait for the playoffs, we will see who is laughing then.
  11. I used to use swivels but then I went to direct tie. I don't think it matters that much but I really love direct ties.
  12. I live in Carlisle, and I know alot of people who have fished whites pond with some success. where else do you fish around here?
  13. I use a crankbait alot, use it around fallen trees. I have also used it around the pads and other vegetation and have had alot of success.
  14. Hey guys, being a big crankbait fishermen in the fall I wanted to transition into some soft plastics fishing in the fall to complement my crankbait fishing. What kinds of soft plastics baits do you guys fish in the fall weather? I have fished senkos and only had the occasional strike and they didn't produce as I would have hoped. Would something like a soft jerkbait work? Thanks

  16. Yeah this is the best way to do it. Recently broke a St. Croix and got everything fixed. Just look at the website or call sure they will be very nice
  17. When they smash my topwater baits as I give them a little walking action. Especially when smallmouth do it. ahh so nice
  18. Darker colors always work for me, solid black with various patterns. But for sure some black on it. I really think color doesn't matter that much, action and the fact it makes a silhouette is more important
  19. huh never happened to me, probably dry skin
  20. Congrats, wish I had a high school team.
  21. Turner is on my team, what a great pick and a great player. As for rookies keep an eye on Hakim Nicks from the giants could become a #1 receiver based on how he plays. Earl Bennet is not a rookie but is a big sleeper. He has Jay Cutler throwing to him and his only other competition for the #1 spot is Hester, we will see what happens.
  22. Pickerel, Yellow Perch, White Perch, Crappie, Bluegill
  23. Pizza and chinese food
