That's an ok fish, but not a monster for the south. I'll show you a monster when I fish Falcon in November with Big O. His PB outta that lake is almost 20lbs.

I'd take a 11 pounder anyday. Point is fishing in the south is better.

So fished Northwood on Sunday, slow day. Caught 4 of the 5 keepers by 9 am and then struggled to fill out a bag the rest of the day. Ended up taking 1st with 11lbs 10oz, so it was a slow day for everyone. There were 7 boats fishing our tournament, plus another 6 boats fishing for pleasure. Place got hammered. Definitely a little disappointing.

Had a awesome day out at pond today with my son and his friend. Ended up with 32 LMB total in 3 hours. All fish were over 1lbs though. Biggest was only 2lbs 8oz. This was a private pond in which my sons friends family has a house on it.

Hit Lake Massabesic this morning with my son and only caught a few very small LMB each. These things were maybe 1/2 lb at best. He used a slugo and I had on a spinner bait. Had 2 HUGE bass follow our baits but they would just turn around and leave. Lots of sunfish attacking even the biggest lures! Those things are crazy, like Piranha's.

Have to mention we were shore fishing only.

It was surprisingly empty besides a few motorboaters flying up and down the water. A few fishermen but that was about it. I always do great there, haven't had a bad day yet. It being primarily private helps though. My Son's father inlaw has a key to the gate so we always get in with no problems.

Got out today with my son and slayed them again with 31 bass in 3.5 hours. All fish today were 2lbs and under though. Still a fun day none the less. Amazing the bite lately is just awesome.

Anyone in the market for a new baitcast reel? I won two Abu Garcia Pro max reels in a tourney and I don't really need any more rods on my deck... I think face value on them is 80 bucks a piece, will sell for 50 a piece.

Thanks he is my best fishing buddy. Does your son play hockey? My son plays he is a 2001 and plays for Top Gun elites. Hope sometime we will meet up with you fishing. We are trying to find new good places to fish without driving more then 1.5 hours away.
