My First 5Lbs.'er!

Featured Replies

Next stop is 10lbs. However, I caught my first "big one" (for me at least as I started bass fishing Jan. 1st of this year) at 5.3lbs. :-)

Thanks all! Once I felt the bite, I set the hook as normal but something felt different. Kinda like I was caught on a limb , but the area was clear there. Then I watched the end of the rod bob like crazy. I reeled it in and about five feet from me I saw it and yelled, " I found mama!". LOL. It was funny. :-)

WTG and TERRIFIC photo too!
