I'd say around the 5lb range, maybe more.

2.75 - 3.5. Nothing over 3.5

I did not weigh it.

I was thinking 4.5-5.5lbs...just because I have caught lots of 3-4 lbers that were not as big and fat as this one.

I would say 4-5 lbs.

Put a mark on your rod, I do mine at 20", then you will have a close idea of how big the fish is, or you can measure your shoe and pace it off, I do that too.........I never carry scale.

i would say 5 to 5.5 lbs

Thanks for the input guys....

The guys saying 2.5-3.5 are crazy...haha...just because I have weighed lots of 3lb'ers that were way smaller then this guy.

It reminds me of a 4.9lb'er I caught last year but I think this guy is a lot longer than that one....

It;s REALLY hard to guess a fish by a photo. That fish has a great healthy form and it could be a 10lber to many if they didn't have a reference to judge the length of that fish. I'd guess right below 5lbs but it could be as low as 4lbs and as high as 5.5lbs IMHO.

I don't understand these kinds of threads, if one has a good idea of the size of a fish, what's the need in asking and then disagree with some else's opinion. My opinion.......I'd would have appreciated the fish just as much in outings section titled "hey look what I caught".

The bottom lip isn't extending past the top, and with your arm up and kinda out, makes me want to believe that it is a 4lber. Nice fish, but for me the bottom lip starts giving out to weight when it hits that 5lb mark.

The head looks a bit small for anything over 4.5-5, or perhaps you have a big fist. It's a nice catch though, regardless of weight.

Well it depends my scale I say 4.5 but if your on a fishing show it would be 6 lber.

HAHA thanks for the replies.

If I had to bet it would be 4.8lbs.

I wish I had my scale with me because I always mark a 5lb'er as a milestone...especially bass fishing in Michigan...this guy was pretty long and fat and it stacks up to 5lber's I have caught in the past.

Like I said... I would bet 4.8 lbs...it might have been less and maybe it was between 5-5.5. who knows...
