Pig At The Pond

Well, I haven't been fishing the local ponds other than a few trips to Collierville.

My last several visits to Grove have not produced much of anything, and no size

at all. The issue, I think, is just too many guys are fishing it now and a few have

been taking some of our prizes.

Anyhow, this morning I downsized to a Rage Baby Craw tipped in chartreuse JJs.

My first bite was a small buck bass. At 7:10 I finally got smacked. The fat girl popped

the craw as I lifted it just off the bottom. Made a good run and classic jump before

being landed. The fish's tail was tipped red, I'm guessing on bed or just off...Could

have something to do with the Supermoon...She looked big enough to go 8, but

she was light.

Outstanding! Congrats.

Wish you posted a picture.

Pond fishing is always great and Rage Tail Craws are excellent baits for ponds.

WooHoo, way to go RW. It feels sooooo good setting the hook and instantly knowing you just stuck a HAWG.
