Terminal Tackle What all is need

Featured Replies

I searched around and could not come up with a good list of terminal tackle that is needed. I am looking to get a good set up and pretty much a newb. I know I need differnt hooks, but weights(worm, sinker, screw in), beads, swivels(ball bearing or regular) split rings, rattles and so on  :-/. What do I need to cover the bases.

Thanks

WELCOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome aboard.  I personally don't need alot of terminal stuff.  Some bullet weights in different sizes, ewg and circle hooks in 2 sizes......some carolina rig beads and a few swivels.

Don't go crazy buying abunch of stuff at first.  As you fish more you will know what you need as far as terminal tackle.  Tungsten weights are great.

I'm with LBH.  For starters, bullet weights (say 1/4 & 3/8 oz.), 8mm beads (glass or plastic), couple size hooks (maybe 2/0 & 4/0), and some barrell swivels.  That could get you by without a ton of cost. :o
