LC Pointer Question???

Featured Replies

I am planning on buying 6-8 of these for spring and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. I am in Quebec, Canada fishing clear water generally 3-8 ft. My experience with jerkbaits is limited to Rapala XR10 xraps. All you guys who swear by LC pointers please give me some suggestions. Thanks in advance

Pick up a Staysee, too.  When bass are a little deeper it's murder.

I would start with a couple in natural colours, make sure they work good for you before you drop the cheddar on 6-8 of em  :)

Just start with a couple of Pointer 100SP.

Pick your favorite pattern and then mine,

Baby Bass. If "blue" is productive for you,

Auora Black is another suggestion.

also try the 78 size sp pointer. in clear water try a few of the ghost patterns. good luck.

In the ultra clear water of Lake St. Clair, the colors that produce best for me are;

1-Chartreuse Shad

2-Ghost Minnow

3-MS American Shad

I also have more success with the 78 size.

My best Lucky Craft color (in both the 100 and 78 sizes) has been Table Rock Shad, on average days and cloudy days.  My next best color on sunny days/few clouds has been the Clown color.

GHOST MINNOW
