I am sinking trees in my pond for structure. I have put concert blocks and poured concert around the bottowm to make them sink and stand up straight. The always fall over. How can I get them to stand up straignt?

Why do they have to stand up straight? Fish will gravitate to them because they are there, not how they look. Be sure to mark where you drop 'em and (if possible) which way they lay.

You can tie a plastic bottle in the top. Lid facing down.

For a tree topper, I prefer a star over an angel. Angels aren't native to water and a star can resemble a starfish or crayfish. Also rather than using garland, thread popcorn onto a string. Works great attracting bait fish. Merry Christmas

They're easier to fish if they're laying down and you know what direction they're facing. That way you can pull the bait with the grain instead of against it, you're less likely to hang up that way.

I prefer sky hooks and leave them in place until the tree begins to saturate and stand on it's own.

I personally like 00's bucket trees, they are very effective and hard to get snagged on.

tie a closed empty 2 liter bottle to the top of the tree.

Don't matter what you do to make them upright because they're not going to last too long.

Get a jig and count it down in a body of water you kow the depth of(swiming pool) Easiest way is to find one combo that falls 1 foot per second. Then count it down as you cast it out!

One of the ponds is not diveable whatsoever, the bass have parasites in their mouths, I am not willing to bet that they dont like human flesh.. Now the other ones I have caught the 9 and 8 lbers out of is a possibilty. it has been getting a bit merky though. what about a countdown rapala with the hooks either removed or covered completely?
