Sleeping On The Couch?

Does anybody else just really like sleeping on the couch? I always like to sleep on the couch rather than my bed, even though my bed is really comfy, there is just something about being on the couch, with the TV on low.

Im not sure what it is, maybe its the quiet TV, or it being an open space compared to my room (10x12), but man, the couch is just better and I sleep better.

Am I the only one?

I do too, until my back end sinks between the cushions.

Haha, lucky me, I have the sown on non-moveable type!

I do when I'm home I don't necessarily like it because there's not enough room for my wife too but this is a family site so i'll leave it at that lol. I do sleep better though my couches are like sleeping pills soon as I'm on the couch its lights out and will sleep all night and day and a good deep sleep I love it.

I sleep on the couch quite often but I'm more of a floor man. Me and the wife have a ritual of laying together at night on the couch.

I love sleeping on the couch, once I fall asleep, I just don't like going upstairs. To me, one second it is night, the next it is morning and I am getting ready to embrace the day.

I alternate between the couch and my chair. The couch is comfy, but my chair is a hundred times more so.

When i was young and lived at home with my parents i rarely slept in my room. Now though once i get the kids to bed and everything finished I hit the bed. Plus if I fall asleep on the couch my wife wakes me up most of the time. I sleep sprawled out so the couch isnt enough room for me. The only way i can keep comfortable enough to sleep on it is if I put my leg up on the back of the couch. Looks pretty awkward.

On a side note, one of my long time buddies sleeps on the floor. Everynight. He has a bed, chair and couches but prefers the floor. Since we were 12 up until now he still sleeps with 1 pillow and 1 blanket on the floor fully dressed. So freakin weird.

I have a friend I used to work with that always slept on the floor when we were splitting a room while traveling. He had a REAL bad back, and said the floor actually helped it. Still is kind of weird to me, seeing as how the floor always jacked my back up.

I thought this was going to be about a guy in the dog house.

I can sleep no my couch. But I can never get a good nights sleep. If I do sleep on the couch I also need one leg on the back of it. I would rather sleep in my bed though. I sleep spread eagle on my stomach. At about a 45 degree angle. So I tend to take up a queen or king sized bed by my self. Which is fine since I am single.

I used to sleep on the floor like that when i was younger and lived at home my mom and sister would claim the two couches so id grab a pillow and lay on the floor and that's where I woke in the morning usually by a kick to the stomach and my mom telling me to get up or ill be late for school. I slept like that up until I met my wife actually but it was usually because that's where I passed out from a vodka enduced coma.

I figured after spending more on my bed than I did on my first 3 cars, I prefer my bed!

Sometime I will fall asleep on the couch, but it's only for a couple of minutes. I have to stay away from the lazy-boy, as soon as I sit down in that I am out like a light.

I hate sleeping on the couch. I have a memory foam mattress and its the best thing since sliced bread.

I often fall asleep on the couch, and sleep quite well on it. My prego wife told me that it bothers her when I dont come to bed, so for her I usually make myself get up after the initial nod off and go to bed.

For what its worth, Ive noticed that sleeping on the couch everynight will wreck a sofa pretty quickly.

X2 ^ I used to sleep in my recliner a lot, but since we got a Sleep Number bed, not so much.

If I sleep on the couch its never by my own choice :Idontknow:

Get yourself a futon and call it a day! Its the best of both worlds. I lived on one for a solid year while in college.
