I just picked up some rage tail eeliminators in blue glimmer and watermelon red flake. I have been wanting to try these since I heard about them last year, but I have not seen them until tonight. I can't wait to see some big girls destroy this bait!

How have you guys done with these?

What color do you like best?

Have you tried them texas rigged with results?

I'm waiting to pick some up, along with some other ragetail baits.

Incredible bait! The things are perfect for Carolina Rigs, and weightless across milfoil patches. There are a number of ways they will produce for you, so just try it a bunch of ways. My favorite colors are the watermelon red, and the pearl dipped in JJ's. Good for LM and SM, but make sure you rig 'em right (refer to the website), and use a 4/0-5/0 heavy wire hook. Have fun, and good luck with them.

I got two packs late last year. I bank fish, so carolina rig is not my favorite technique. After fishing with them a bit, I think they will be killer used as a topwater....kinda like walking the dog, but all you have to do is reel slowly. The tail and body really have a great action....very much looks like a decent sized snake swimming along the surface of the water. I did not fish long enough with them last year to determine if this topwater pattern will hold, but it looks promising.

I baught a couple pack but havent gotten to use them yet. I'm excited about this bait because I've had good luck with a lunker city salad spoon so i think this will be a killer. Similar bait and apearance just with ALOT more action to it. Awesome format for a bait. You can fish it a bunch of different ways and they catch alot of fish. The rage tail bait looks like it has a crazy action compared to the salad spoon and the salad spoon is already a good bait so i cant wait to use them. Its too early to speculate but i think that this could be one of those amazing baits that are a must have.

Eels are great. I like to use the white ones and fish them topwater on the river for smallmouth. I fish them real slow just lifting the rod tip ever so slightly and the bait does the rest. They have a nice wide wobble. If the water temps were cold I would carolina rig them. I think the wide wobble goes great with the cool temps. Good luck to you.

I've had a blast with the eeliminator.  I like the pearl one rigged weightless on a 4/0 superline EWG.  Just reel it VERY slow and it dances back and forth on the retrieve.  The bass hammer it!

I've also done well with it on a light weight c-rig.  (3/16 to 1/4 oz)

never bought a pack yet, but this looks to be the best of the new ragetail lures, cant wait to get a few a have bass blow-out!
