Zoom Ol'Monster or the Zoom Mag. worm.Lizard ,Strike King Rage,  Creature=Brush Hog or Netbait Mad Paca or there McDaddy.

Zoom Mag. watermellon/red. I've been thinking about checking out the zoom super swim flukes, I've heard a few guys say they like them.

I have had a lot of success over the years texas rigging a 5" Zoom Lizard in Watermelon Seed. What a fun way to fish!

Whenever someone asks "What is the best" of something they are asking for an opinion and that's what they will get, a whole lot of differing opinions.

The fact is that Zoom makes dozens of soft plastic baits of different shapes and sizes. Bass will like some more than others on different days and under different conditions. I caught my personal best LM on a trickworm. I won a tournament on a brushhog. I caught my first bedding fish on a 6" lizard. I caught six fish on six casts with a brushhog and JJ's magic. I caught my PB Spotted bass dropshoting a finesse worm. I love an Ol' Monster in the summer time. A Speed Worm is my favorite on a C-Rig. I love a tiny Lizard on a Mojo Rig in the Spring.........

See what I'm getting at. Conditions, confidence, application, and personal preferance dictate what is the best of anything.

Stepping off of the "soapbox" now.

For me, the four inch lizard in chartreuse or watermelon/red, rigged weedless on an Owner SledHead hook.

It was killer for me, working it along the bottom through the vegetation.

Can't go wrong with any Zoom product.

If I'm not mistaken the company that makes the Zoom plastics also does them for ***.

wow. sad to see that this isnt up here yet.....

Horny Toad.   Hands down. it fishes like nothing else similar to it.    its easy, anyone can use it and catch bass. its easy to rig.    And its just freakin fun!

besides that, the Ole' Monster! Love that thing!

there trully isnt anything that they make that i dont like.  and their cheap too!

personally... i probably use a trickwprm more than anything.  next is a speedworm and then a horney toad.  oh... grrr... and ol monsters.... see?
