yes. better chance in the fall. try a few different angles while circling the pond. you can cover the whole pond in 20 min and know if they wanted it or not. i've found it to be a waste of time burning multiple casts thru the same water. ur first cast in new water has the best potential for a bite with a big lure in a small pond.

Big fish eat little fish and there isn't anything that imitates a little fish much better than a swimbait. It certainly doesn't take a big fish to eat a 5" swimbait either. I've caught little 12 inchers on 5" baits that had it so deep you couldn't see the bait if they closed their mouths.

Nope, PB is my avatar. Didnt get a weight on the pond fish. Batteries were dead in the scale.
