Hello Y'all..

I'm James aka Lone Star.

Moved to Chesterfield Va. from Houston Texas

Chesterfield has been my home for the last 10 yrs

and I miss the BBQ (Beef not Pork) and the Gulf Coast.

Took up fly fishing since moving here and fly tying as well.

On Wednesdays I help teach fly tying to our Vets at Mcguire

Hospital on weekends I'm out kayak fishing in a Red Heritage

Kayak named HELLBOY. Glad to find this forum..I could always

use more fishing tips. The other fishing forum I belong to

is KayakBassFishing.com.

Welcome to the Forum. We always are glad to add another Virginia guy.

Lots of places to fish out of your kayak in the geographical area.

Secure the DG&IF Freshwater Fishing in Virginia phamphlet and locate all the places you can fish.

Remember the James River is an outstanding fishery but it is also unforgiving go always wear your PFD on the James and all other bodies of water.

Post pics of your catches.

Welcome, always good to have another VA join up. I am from Chesterfield! If you fish the river, try Texas beach area with a 4" weightless senko, junebug. For fly-fishing, try BPS Ashland, there is a guy that works there that attends VCU and knows his stuff about the James! Welcome!!!
