Any one here ever done it? A team from my platoon is going to do the one in Buffalo next July I just signed up for it with them.

I've done two Warrior Dashes the last two years. Heard the Mudder is no joke. Spartan Race is rough too.

Hopefully it goes better than the one in Maryland last weekend, they ended up having to cancel the 2nd day. Traffic and other logistics did not work out well.

I am way to out of shape with bad knees/ankles to give it a try.

Our whole platoon has signed up except maybe 3 or 4 guys team Workhorse sense that's our call signs here workhorse 1bravo ect. The site says it will be 1:30 hours from Buffalo AND Rochester which buts it right smack dab in my back yard or close to it I'm thinking I live right in the middle of both cities.

I'll sit back in the " clubhouse" with my pina colada watchin ya............I'm too old., lol

I did the Warrior Dash which is much shorter. With the Dash there was a lot of waiting at obstacles and parking was terrible but it was a great time. A few of my friends did the Mudder and had similar experiences just on a larger scale I guess. But like I said it was a lot of fun and we had a great time at the Warrior Dash.

Great fun but if you think you'll run right through...fuggetabboutit! In all of them I've been involved with it goes like this...run 1-2 miles...wait 15-20-30 minutes at obstacle...do obstacle slowly behind other people...run 1-2 miles and so on. It is however a crap load of fun and they all have free beer at the finish line. If you're doing it to race don't get your hopes up, but it is a heck of a good time.

we know its not a race but hopefully the waiting shouldn't be bad we already have our slot and start time locked in we go on the first day at 0800 first wave so the obstacles wont be all muddy and beat up from hundreds before us.
