New Personal Best

Featured Replies

Fished last night from 515pm-7pm. the bite was off the hook! (no pun intended). totaled about 15 fish with some massive pickerel. most fish taken on a watermelon candy yum dinger texas rigged with a few on topwater and 10" worms.

Around 530 i landed an absolute slob especially for the northeast where i fish. did not have a scale but was definitly bigger then my previous personal best of 7lbs. my guess is this fish was every bit of 7.5lbs maybe even 8. snapped a quick photo (photo doesn't do this fish enough justice!) on my friends cheap cell phone camera and she was released to fish another day.

the fish was caught on 8lb test with a spinning rod and made two jumps out of the water where i thought she was going to throw the hook!

The fall feed bag is on!

Awesome fish! That sure is a hawg.

Do yourself a favor: stop looking at the picture! It will appear smaller and smaller each time (at least that's what happens to me). You'll keep telling yourself "I know that fish was bigger than that".

Congrats on the hog! Get yourself a small digital scale. Never again will you have to guess at a weight!

Some have good reviews and some have bad. Just grab one up and measure a known weight to figure out how accurate it is. When you catch another hog, weigh it and then when you get home, weight a known weight to see how off it is. Gets you really close to the weight of your fish. Also, to be precise, you can get a boga grip and have it certified! They are expensive, but I love mine!

Awesome fish!! I just purchased the small digital Berkley scale and it was one of the best investments for my tackle box yet. I highly recommend it.
