bait monkey got me

Featured Replies

The rod/reel monkey got me earlier this week for $100 and now the bait monkey got me for $50 more...

Ordered some

-Kick'N Bass Scent,

-Super Flukes,

-Ewg Treble hooks in red to replace the ones on some of my cranks,

-Stacy King 31Pc Jig set (all my previous jigs are at the bottom of a local pond when oldest daughter dumped them over),

-1/4oz Redeye Shad lipless crank (the type KVD used) in Sexy shad which is the one that resembles the bream here the closest and also can stay above the vegetation on faster retrieves.

Fluke color and how I plan to fish it

(just to show the color choice, not the actual lures)

He got me earlier this week for a Tackle Warehouse order.  Looks like I will be making my own skirts and fishing a lot of swimbaits.

it's winter...all I can do is spend my money on fishing stuff for the spring.

Same for me. This winter I spent around $400 on gear, and winter's not over yet either!!!

The bait monkey has been good to me this year, everything I got so far has been on sale.

8-)

The bait monkey owns me right bout now. I have spent around 3 grand on rods, reels and tackle since christmas. Replaced my entire arsenal of rods and reels and added alot of soft plastics, lures, jerkbaits and tons of other stuff that I will probably never even use  :-[

This winter I spent around $400 on gear, and winter's not over yet either!!!

And it don't look like it's going to be over for a long time.

i spend around 3,000 in winter on rods, reel and lures and line

because i am 5th year angler but this year i am entering torumanets so i need a lot of gears and lures
