JJ's or megastrike

Featured Replies

do you guys prefer jj's magic or megastrike attractant when it comes to fish catching ability(which one have you guys had better results with)

I marinate jig trailers in JJ's at home, storing

the plastics in their original packages. JJ's works

great, but it is messy.

For all other soft plastics, it's MegaStrike

for me. Effective, user friendly and it also

acts as a lubrricant.

There is only 3 things I heard actually have the same or better than usual outcome:

Kickin' Bass

MegaStrike

coffee scent or coffee grounds

I never am on the water without both of them.  I use JJ's when the bite is real tough.  It has gotten me bites tons and tons of times when I couldn't buy a bite on anything else.  It seems that when there real finicky, a straight tail worm with a dip of the Magic will get them to commit.

When the bite seems on, I always use Megastrike.  I think it makes the bait feel way more natural to the fish and the amino acids definitely help them hold it longer.  I also use Megastrike on all my soft swimbaits to help prevent tearing

it seems like it would be useful to get both and i eventually will get both, but if im only going to get one right now what do you guys think i would be better off with?

I'm with Senko 77.

Both are always in the boat with me.

Sometimes JJ's follows me around for a few days after a trip though. ;D

I've never tried JJ's, but all my soft plastics have Megastrike on them before I cast them out.

I have both with me most of the time, they aren't really that expensive. I se jj's for plastics and to add color.  Megastrike is usually on jigs, trailers, and have used it on hollow belly, paddle tails.

Both.  I've only been using them for a short time, but I wish I had been using them a lot longer.  Whether or not they actually work, I definitely have been catching more fish since I've started using them.  Confidence, or actual product working who cares.  More fish = more fun.

If you throw soft swimbaits..Megastrike works great. Not only does it keep the baits, like my Huddelstons soft and plyable, but as was mentioned it lubes them so the bass seem to swallow them easier...don't leave home without it! :)  Never tried dippin my swimbaits in JJ's, all my plastic's get dipped though.

Bobby...where's my swimbait scent..??? ;)
