Those things could eat most of the perch I've ever caught.

they look like the yellow perch here. anyone know of the differences, if any? other than they seem to get much bigger there than in the States here

They are separate species. Ours have one more stripe.

We have a few area lakes where most of the bass don't get that big LOL. Thankfully not the one I live by.

I think those are the same or very similar as our redfin perch!(The ones here in Australia were introduced from England.)

EU perch are Perca fluviatilis, while our yellow perch are Perca flavescens, being of the same genus, they are very closely related.
