Sunline Fx2?

Anyone using it? How do you like, compared to say 832, or Kanzen?

If i'm being completely honest, I just like the color, green and blue. Would match perfectly with some blue craw ragetails...

Dean Rojas was in town last year pushing this line, he was saying that he had specifically designed it to work well with his signature frog. The price was a little steep for me at the time so I stuck with what has worked for me. Let us know how you like it if you end up getting it.

I also thought of trying it with TW sunline sale (buy 1 get 1). I to may have to experiment for that price :)

The Sunline braid feels like as if it were a 4 strand braid (It's got 8 strands). It's got a very textured feel to it, unlike Samurai or 832.

It's a little bit louder than those other braids as well.

On the other hand though, I haven't been able to break the line with any kind of pulling... Straightened all sorts of different hooks. The texture to the braid might also be helpful in cutting weeds and lily pads though.

I don't think you can go wrong with the sunline fx2. Especially with that price going on at TW.

Yeah, the price is really holding me back though, even with 2 spools, 40$ is alot for my salary. Considering I almost never use braid, a whole spool of 832 has lasted me 2 years. I dont want to be down 40 if I dont like it.

If you don't like it you could always sell the spool you get for free on the forums here or on ebay that way you won't be out as much $. I've heard good thinks about FX2.
