Left work today and stopped at a local canal. According to my fishermans watch, it was prime time of the day. Grab the pole and my little bag, and off I went. Fished for about 3 hours and caught a total of 32 bass. All were averaging 1.5-2.5lbs. Small but furious these little buggers were. I had to stop due to I ran out of bait in my bag. Thats never happened to me before, then again neither has that many bass out of local canal in just 3hrs for me. Using my Shimano Sienna 2500 and an old Lightning rod, 30# braid with a 12# YoZuri leader. With the drag set a little light, it was 3hrs of thrills. Good chop on the water, and great action. Couldnt of asked for a better way to ring out the last fishing day of 2012 for me. Howd yall do?

32 bass wow! As for me here in Pennsylvania the winter starts early so I didn't have too much time to get one last good trip in.

way to close out the year....

Nice way to top off 2012. Id almost rather go out and catch a lot of 1-3 pounders than one big girl...almost.

Great way to end the year. 32 in the canal is pretty good. I went to park for a couple hours yesterday and wrapped up with 4. Heaviest 2lbs and change.

WTG!  My last time out in 2012 was a couple of weeks ago right before it turned really chilly.

Rub it in, I'm sitting here looking out the window at about 4" of snow. Going down to 16 degrees tonight.... brrrrr.

great end to the year. the only way that could have been better was if you caught all those fish on a Daiwa.
