Has Anyone Heard Of Cultiva?

Featured Replies

A couple of my buddies work for a owner rep, and they were selling alot of tackle and lures at a yard sale. I grabbed up what I can and I came across these cultiva lures. Apparently they are made by by owner and have owner hooks on them. Any thoughts on these whether they are quality or what not?

Love Cultiva lures, they are hard to find though.  My favorite is the Tango Dancer 115 (I think the one in your first picture is the slightly smaller TD 95).  As far as I'm concerned it's the best walk-the-dog bait out there.  It's sturdy, has a good sound and the stickiest hooks I've ever seen on a bait...

The Rip'N Minnows (those in the 2nd pic) are very good in the streams and rivers near me, great smallie lures.  I never got to try the poppers or the trap-style baits.

I looked them up and there all in the 14-16$ price range. Just never

seen these before.

I have a couple Cultiva lipless crankbaits like the one in the upper left of the second pic. It's a smallmouth magnet.

I have a couple Zip n' Ziggy's (second down in your first picture) and some Tango Dancers...Great Walking baits...but the tinned stock hooks on the Ziggy are junk..too small and they bend easilly...I replaced mine with #6 KVD Short Shanks. The hooks on the Tango Dancers are fine.

I have one of their lipless baits and it's a great little bait, a little hard to cast for a lipless bait though.

I love the cultiva lures. The mira vibe lipless crank is my favorite, i do very well with that one. I also have the tango dancer and the zip and ziggy.

I have a few C´ultiva lures, I like the Bug Eye Bait, if they would only made it bigger I wouldn´t doubt it would be a more bassy lure, not that it doesn´t catch fish, the only problem is the teeny tiny size, it´s a dink magnet.

The Zip N Ziggy is one of the best dog walking top water lures made. It has a sliding weight that helps to cast this lure in the wind. The Pims minnows are good trout lures and bass if the bas are on small bait.

let me know if you don't want that baby bass popper.  I LOVE that thing.  Real nice popping action and it walks the dog as well.

If anybody wants to trade for some of these just let me know because they seem like there not really on the market anywhere. Most of these havnt been used. Kinda wanting to hold on the popper and spooks though.
