Has anyone used these baits, the KVD slashbait/jerkbaits?  I picked up a couple yesterday on sale and they looked pretty good quality.  Great colors and very similar looking to the lc pointers, just half the price.  Just wondering if anyones used em and if there any good?

I have. They are decent baits but like most strike king hard baits def need to change split rings and hooks. I changed my front treble to the next size up to make it suspend a little better. The action on them is not as eratic as i like but they are still good baits.

You bought two baits that you have to buy heavier hooks for to "almost" suspend and it will not provide the action you want???... instead of buying one Pointer that will be perfect out of the package... I don't get it!  Spend the money to buy a proven bait.

I've fished them twice and they're produced fish for me both times. Haven't fished them enough to decide if they're any better or worse than other baits but they do work. 

Do these suspend at all? I have seen them before and love the colors, but there is next to zero information on the box.

^^^exactly theres literally no info on how deep it dives, if its suspending or floating, etc. but the colors are great and so was the price.

I pondered the same thing. I think online retailers carry them for about 9 or10 bucks. Pointers run about 15 bucks or so. By the time you change out the hooks for some quality trebles, its going to be a 13 dollar bait. I can justify changing out hooks on a 6xd cause the bait is only 6 bucks to begin with and it does the job, especially when a CB D20 runs like 18 bucks. I will stick with pointers and mcsticks when it comes to jerk baits.

What color are the eyes????

Here's the only info I've found on it so far. The bait looks good but changing out hooks and getting the bait to run perfect doesn't make me want to shy away from a pointer.

 

I believe the running depth is 4-7 ft for both models
