Does anyone here use a trailer with a hair jig?

Not always,but sometimes I add about 2" of a finesse worm. Normally in the same color as the jig. I use mostly all black, with an ocassional brown.

Yes, for smallmouth bass in water below 50 deg F, hair jigs and live bait are my first choice.

How big is GY's Baby Craw?

I sometimes tie a different color hair or even strands from a silicone skirt in the middle of my hair jigs to act as a trailer.  I leave it a little longer so it shows out the back end.
