Featured Replies

Not always, but sometimes I add about 2" of a finesse worm. Normally in the same color as the jig. I use mostly all black, with an ocassional brown.

anyone here use a trailer with a hair jig

Yes, for smallmouth bass in water below 50 deg F, hair jigs and live bait are my first choice.

I was asking if you used a "trailer"  when you use a hair jig.

Yes.

I like the Rage Tail Baby Craw

How big is GY's Baby Craw?

I sometimes tie a different color hair or even strands from a silicone skirt in the middle of my hair jigs to act as a trailer.  I leave it a little longer so it shows out the back end.
