I like mine on a Carolina Rig.

Rig on an open jig head and fish around rocks. Start with quarter ounce. Heavier heads on windy points. Or on a weed less jig head and fish in cover flipping or pitching. It's best used as a craw dad imitator so concentrate where the 'dads would be.

Keith provided a perfect photo for rigging options.  Find rock, clay, gravel and drag these around.  Start with 1/4 oz. and go heavier depending on depth and wind. I like expose football heads best .One of the best smallmouth baits ever.

Kieth shows in the picture my favorite ways of fishing them. T-rigged (and pitched into cover), on a stand-up jig, or C-rigged also work well. They are very versatile baits. Enjoy!

I like to rig the on a dressed jig, skirt to skirt they make up a mouthful.

I like them on a weedless football head:

I've never heard anyone else do it, but I use them on chatterbaits with good results. Sometimes pinching the "skirt" off and using the twin tails behind a jig style skirt. Killer on the drop and the GYCB hulas are heavy, adding weight and allowing you to absolutely bomb a 3/8 chatterbait.

Football head, standup head, T-rigged, or C-rigged are my most productive ways to fish them.
