Tackle Bags

Featured Replies

Got another question for you guys..

I'm looking for a tackle bag that can hold 3600 size boxes but has a ton of soft plastic storage. I have looked at cabelas and the only stuff they have are really over priced. I am looking for a bag like this because I need one that I can easily put on my jon boat and take off. Thanks for your help and suggestions

What price you looking to stay at?

Probably under 65. Haha i'm only a kid making minimum wage so I don't think I can go too much higher

Have you tried the Havoc bag from Dicks Sporting Goods. I think its 30 bucks or so. Plenty of room for soft plastics and 4 3600 boxes.

I use it for tournaments and love it!

that looks pretty sweet. looks like you could cram about 5 3601 boxes in there.

Are you fishing from the bank or a boat?  BPS has bags that meet your requirements.  One of them can be worn as a back-pack if you are a bank fisherman.

I have the Bass Pro Shop Extreme Qualifier 370 tackle bag. Holds five 360 or 370s in the main compartment and the side compartments could hold enough plastics to keep you fishing over a year.

$39 in camo or $35 in red.

If that's too big you can buy the 360 bag.

I use a regular backpack for bank fishing. I am trying to find a bag that I keep all of my stuff together in the boat

I got the browning tackle bag when it went on sale at Bass Pro for $30-50. I can't remember the exact price b/c it was about 3 years ago. It has held up well for me. Nothing has broken and it looks pretty much brand new and I don't baby it haha.

It holds 5 3700 cases (so it'll hold 3600 as well). I usually put 2 cases in and have room for sandwiches, rain gear, and tons of room in the front and side pouches for spinnerbait case, soft plastics, and tools.

I have the Bass Pro Shop Extreme Qualifier 370 tackle bag also.  It is great to fish out of a boat with, but I like to carry a smaller hard tackle box when fishing from the bank.

i have a berkley bag from dsg works awsome and i bank fish

If you are talking about the Havoc bag I think you can hold more.  It hold's 4 3600's comfortably.  I spent the winter reorganizing the bag and now I have 3-3600's 2-3601's and one of the 3500's on top.  It still leaves plenty of room in the compartment inside and the two outside for worms.

If it goes I sale I might buy another one just to keep it for when this one goes down.  So far it has lasted me one solid season with no signs of crapping out on me.  Thought it wouldn't last because of the price.

I couldn't pass this deal up for $14.95 Pro Qualifier Bag, holds 5 of 360 boxes and plenty of storage in front and sides for plastics and etc.

That price is without boxes though. I been looking for a good smaller tackle bag to take bank fishing and put in my two man boat, after stocking this thing out, we have a winner.

I have a Browning bag that I bought a few years ago on sale at BPS for around $50, may be the same one A-Rob mentioned.  They dont make it any more but I think it's similar to the BPS Extreme Qualifier 370 bags, holds plenty of stuff, I think it will hold 8 360 boxes plus it has large pockets for plastics.

Go to Walmart.  I'm pretty sure that they will have something that will meet your needs for less than $30.

If you want to go really cheap and don't care if you get looks or stares, go to Salvation Army. When I was in your position years ago (semi-broke & bank fishing) I found a large women's bag for less than $5.

As an added bonus it was black & neon green zebra striped, I didn't have to worry about getting it dirty or anyone stealing it.

Check out the Flambeau AZ series bag's.

I use the AZ 8 it's the biggest, and it can get heavy but as a back of the boat co-angler I like to bring everything.

The AZ 6 and AZ 4 might be what you're looking for.

I have a BPS horizontal tray Stalker bag that I used a few times, and a Cabellas, but to me the pockets, keepers, everything about the AZ series seems just right.

Good luck in your search.

Mike

Yes I bought the same one, awesome bag.  Now I can get rid of my daughter's old "Purple" backpack I was using for my tackle.

The BPS bags are great bags and especially when they are on sale.  Probably will be on sale at the Classic.
