Nice article, for sure.

A+

My father never once took me fishing, in fact he hates fishing. He has gone with me when I was a kid bank fishing many times, but never really enjoyed it, and it was not a bonding experience what-so-ever. Thank heavens for my oldest brother, he taught me and made me fall in love with fishing, and I couldnt be happier about it.

Some of my best memories as a kid were fishing with my brothers, or fishing by myself. If my wife and I can have kids (not so sure) I will totally attempt to take them and show them the way.

Always appreciate the wisdom from Hank and others. I have four boys and it has been trying at times to take them all fishing. But each has had great times and I hope many more. While leaving my stuff at home is oh so hard, I feel it is necessary to give the kids front and center attention. Now that they're getting older though....

Great article. My oldest keeps asking when we can go again and I can't wait to take her again.

well said mr parker. just started with my 5 yr old last summer, wish the first trip was from shore. it was painfull running my ranger at 20mph. but they sure get excited to see a bass. makes it all worth it.

Great article.  I look forward to many memories fishing with my kids.  The best fishing trip I had last summer was with my four year old son.  Will always remember it.  Did not catch any monster bass, but the memories that I made with him will far outlast any fish I would ever catch.
