Roboworm Zipper Worm

Aggressive Bass (some of the time)

Gambler 10" Ribbontail Worm

Deps 6" Deathadder Grub (can you say 'Dynamite')

When I read your preference for the color "Junebug" in your former post, it took me back to the 1960s.

Not long after the first plastic worms flooded the marketplace (Cream, Manns & Culprit),

the cliche' of the times was "Any color worm will work, as long as it's "Purple"".

Remarkably, 40 years later and it's still a "Purple Worm"!

Zoom finesse, Zoom Shaky head and Roboworm straight tail worm have produced the largest numbers. The most productive I have used is a watermelon/red flake Zoom finesse worm.

zoom magnum worm, zoom ss u tale,

anything black.  rig according to conditions and cover.

And a senko is a stick bait not a worm

you obviously haven't fished the zipper shakin roboworms, which is my favorite next to the kuhuna cut tail worm

The 6". Most of the time t rigged with a 3/16, or 1/4 oz bullet weight. I have dropshotted them also.

The 4.5" worms are for dropshot, unless I'm really desperate and need to toss into some light cover.. ;D

When I do dropshot them, I prefer to nose hook them.

I would probably have to say Roboworm! The first time I used it it caught me a nice bass using a drop shot and hooking it in the nose!! 4.5 inch straight tail black grape!!!

We obviously have very different opinions which is obvious because you and I are different people.

What you assume is that it is obvious that I have never fish the zipper shakin worm because if I had then it would obviously be my favorite worm.

What you failed to observe is that that Captain Obvious is a tackle junkie of the first degree and close kin to the bait monkey. Obviously one who has devoted most of his young life to studding tackle could not let such a well know lure like the zipper fly under his radar.

Obviously then I have fished that worm and still claim that it comes behind my much loved trick worm.

I hope that now you will continue to fish the zipper worm which you obviously love, and I will fish the trick worm which I obviously love and we both will enjoy success with our choices.

Now after this short hi-jack of this post let us continue with the first question: Favorite Plastic Worm?

I think that pretty much anything past or present that's made out of plastic will make the list sooner or later if this thread lives long enough.

I like just about any plastic as long as it's a shade of purple.

T- tig them but instead of a normal position for the hook put it further down the worm so you get fluttering action on both ends. Its deadly
